Ed Kilgore’s Extended Hackery

Noted Democrat strategist Ed Kilgore thinks the GOP is engaged in a murder-suicide.

It’s possible, and perhaps even probable, that the GOP strategy for 2010 is to create a political environment so toxic and voter-alienating that Republicans can win a very low turnout election by whipping their base into a genuine frenzy. That’s obviously not a very good scenario for the country, and it remains to be seen if it’s even good for the GOP.

The problem for Ed is that this is exactly what the Democrats did in 2006 and 2008 — from “miserable failure” to “Hailburton” to pegging Bush as a “war criminal”, etc. The list really does go on and on.

So if Ed is trying to indict a political party, he just did it to his own.

    Distract their Politically Brain-dead base by Projecting unto others what they are guilty of. Again, I say, KEEP IT UP! Thank you Democrats for acting your normal Psychotic selves and exposing/espousing it everyday. I was on the Midnight Radio Network just the other day discussing it with them on-air, it is the whole Welfare Reform BS again…. We want to starve Seniors…. to …. We want to Kill Seniors…. non-sense….

    The facts are this:
    REPUBLICAN WELFARE REFORMS WORKED
    REPUBLICAN PRIVATE SOLUTIONS WOULD WORK FOR HC
    … and they cannot let their chance to get this BS through to avoid letting us actually FIX IT!

    “Logic leads to conclusions, but emotion leads to action.”

    This has always been the strategy of the left, to evoke emotional responses from people to motivate them to support their illogical policies.

    Conservatives then find ourselves frustrated because we know that our policies are the right one, but we’re unable to make the emotional argument necessary to motivate the electorate. Fortunately, the left under Obama is making such a mess of the country that people are coming to the conclusion themselves that liberalism == FAIL.

    IMHO the Republicans would do very well to tie Roman Polanski around the Democrats’ neck in 2010. What a winning issue this is!
