Got to where they are when the 17th amendment was ratified. That essentially made Senators dictators for life. The States representation in the federal government was removed and the unfunded mandates flowed like rain.

States rights were done.

A similar situation is setting up in Florida when Crist the media darling, will get in and vote for Democrat socialism every time. You want to know why Florida is broke, ask Crist. Crist wants to be Florida’s Snowe.

Sure she might get some of the leftys and maybe in Maine that is what she needs to get re-elected? But once this craptastic piece of crap becomes law then she won’t be able to find any cover when the folks in Maine get screwed big time - as are the rest of Americans - and that includes all the leftys who were dying for National HealthCare coverage. Meanwhile, when Snowe comes down with some disease - it will be off to the Congressional hospital for her…..
