So I started an account some time back. I was never a big time poster and this site wasn’t a good fit for me. Due to bad experiences in the past I’ve had with old dusty accounts I decided I should close this account.
As I’ve done with every other account I’ve closed I searched the help, profile etc section for a way to close it. No luck. So I e-mailed the contact address. No reply. Nada Nothing Zilch.
So I, IMHO, politely post in an open thread to close the account. I’m told it is possible to close the account. But it won’t be closed, at least for the time being. I also get asked a ton of times why (which I answer).
So I’ve tried to close it automatically, privately via e-mail (repeatedly and waited for a reply) and politely via posts in open threads.
