Go to http://www.senate.gov and click on your state to find your senator, then send an email that says vote AGAINST cloture!

I sent handwritten faxes today to both my senators. The lines were busy at first, but the faxes went through within ten minutes.

I’m going to send another tomorrow to our democrat senator reading:

“Mary Landrieu got $100 million for her vote. How much do you charge?”

Oh, the reason for the *handwritten* fax is that if you send one written on a word processor, it gets OCRd and their computer scans it for buzzwords and simply adds a bean to either the “yes” or “no” count. A handwritten fax has to be actually read by a human being.

I called Senator Ben Nelson at all numbers available, and all message boxes are full…can’t even leave a message. I’ve sent two emails. This smells like Immigration Reform.

…these Democrats will take We the People seriously without violent action. They obviously don’t fear us.
I fully believe that many Democrats have been paid off to vote for this monstrosity. And I don’t mean a payoff to their states in the form of pork. I mean a personal payoff in cash or in the promise of a lucrative government job when they lose their seats next year.
I think many won’t even run for reelection and will announce their retirements within the next few months. There must be a way to utterly destroy these “representatives’” lives so that they can’t find gainful employment.

I doubt seriously if they will pay any attention to them.

And, of course, I’m making a HUGE leap of faith here in assuming that saner minds will take charge at some point soon. Given the extreme degree of both voter irnorance and the entitlement mindset, we may just need to furl the flag and wait until The Big Asteroid hits and we can rebuild from scratch.

All we need is for one Senator to ask that it be read. While estimates varied, the low end estimate was that it would take 35 hours to be read aloud. Every American should have a reasonable amount of time to read this bill first. Even those of us who started reading the bill the moment Reid finally formally submitted it and posted it on line have not had time to finish reading it.

They are both a complete waste of time, but still worth taking the time to contact.

I tried calling Byrd’s office yesterday and never could get through. I finally did make it through to Rockefeller, for all the good it will do.
