Barack Obama Trots Out Joe Biden to Attack George Bush

Here is what Barack Obama said last night:

It’s enough to say that for the next six years, the Iraq war drew the dominant share of our troops, our resources, our diplomacy, and our national attention — and that the decision to go into Iraq caused substantial rifts between America and much of the world.

Though filled with other assertions and outright lies that Bush dropped the ball in Afghanistan, Obama was rather respectful.

That was yesterday. My, my how 24 hours makes a difference.

Sent from Barack Obama’s campaign team at barackobama.com, I got this note from Joe Biden tonight about the Obama policy in Afghanistan:

It’s a clean break from the failed Afghanistan policy of the Bush administration, and a new, focused strategy that can succeed.

Graceless, tasteless, and an outright lie.

By the way, wasn’t it Barack Obama who chaired the Senate’s sub-committee dealing with the Afghan War from 2006-2008? And how many hearings did he have on the matter? If you answered zero, you would be correct.

    Sounds like a pretty similar strategy to me.

    This way some part of the ‘discussion’ can continue to be “Yeah, but Bush…………”.
    Which prevents, or at least distracts from, pointing out any failings that exist in this long awaited “new” strategy.
    And anything that this Administration can do to detract from an honest and factual discussion of it’s policies and, more importantly, the potential failures of those policies,….well there ya go.

    They don’t know what else to do other than to blame Bush, especially since Dick Cheney always has something to say. Too bad we couldn’t get Dick Cheney in 2012 as a candidate.

    Biden was against the surge strategy in Iraq too.

    The big dummy made fun of Palin during the VP debate for advocating the very same Afghan surge his boss is undertaking – except without the timetable for a cut-and-run of course.

    This vast and diverse citizenry will not always agree on every issue — nor should we. But I also know that we, as a country, cannot sustain our leadership, nor navigate the momentous challenges of our time, if we allow ourselves to be split asunder by the same rancor and cynicism and partisanship that has in recent times poisoned our national discourse.

    If Reagan was the Great Communicator, then Obama must be the Great Projectionist.

    If you can, listen to the first 10 minutes of the Savage show from yesterday Dec 2nd. Using audio clips he campares Obamas speech to Bush and LBJ. Very interesting.

    Obama is very effective in achieving his goals, eg, destroying the US economy, filling in the economic grave with now laughable claims that Cap’n Tax (if it produces energy, tax everyone and everything in sight) is necessary to fight “climate change” (poor baby! not like it was when big brother Global Warming was actually taken seriously, largely because opposition was stifled, and skeptical scientists didn’t get grants, while co-conspirators did; as always: follow the money).

    And if that doesn’t take care of the problem (a free and free market America), Health Care is warming up to prep for going to bat and hitting the game-winning run. Dems are actually risking losing their seats to comply. (This last REALLY scares me: the first rule of a politician is to get re-elected.)

    The man is a communist. What part of having a communist in the White House as well as being C-n-C of our military sounds like a good idea? Obama has effected this reality.

    Obama has probably already accomplished more than he expected. Success in America and success in a brutal dictatorship are probably very different things.

    Americans still have plenty of time to get all bent out of shape and STILL get back to sleep before the 2010 mid-term elections.

    May God help us all.

    ….in a televised public committee hearing,said of Donald Rumsfeld,” Don’t pay any attention to Rumsfeld; he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” Biden said that about a man who has spent a good deal of his life in service to his country, through several administrations, was the Secretary of Defense of the United States of America at the time, AND WHO WAS AT GROUND ZERO IN THE PENTAGON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CARNAGE WHEN FLIGHT 77 KILLED A COUPLE HUNDRED PEOPLE, due to the machinations of the DEMOCRAT PARTY GOING ALL THE WAY BACK TO FRANK CHURCH. I wouldn’t walk across the street to spit on Joe Biden………..yes I would.

    Obama is a Leftist True Believer and a capable spewer of dogma, but he would get nowhere if not for the cabal of leftist goons in Congress, the administration, and the media who are the ones actually implementing the leftist agenda. These people salivated at the opportunity their new figurehead would provide them.

    The only bright spot, for those of us who believe in a free America, is that the bloom is off the rose. The One, The Lightworker, The One We’ve Been Waiting For, is rapidly becoming a silly and foolish looking caricature of himself.

    Perhaps, just perhaps, without Obama in Shining Armor riding his unicorn over the rainbow, the lefties’ agenda will be hampered just a bit.

    I’m gearing up for them to ram through immigration legislation before 2010 to keep conservatives out of power for life.

    2012 may very well be “the end.”

    The proof will come in just over a week. If he had zero support on the hill, he could still drive the stake through the heart of America. The UN treaty on Climate Change, will be that stake. With the stroke of a pen, the so called “leader of the free world” will sign America into oppression. Stand by for reparations to all countries leaving a smaller CO2 footprint than that of the USA. Stand by for a One World Government. Stand by for every “leader” on the planet being the ruler of the world for six months. Stand by for a governance that will over rule our Constitution. The Communists have been patiently waiting. And Barrack Obama is the vehicle that will place us firmly in their grasp. Copenhagen will be like, The Eagles “Hotel California”… Relax said the night man we are programed to receive, You can check out any time you like, but you can NEVER leave.
    Our EPA will decide our CO2 tax and the fines due for violations. Forget that all the “facts” regarding Climate Change have been debunked. The EPA does not deal in “facts” they deal in “findings”. And they can find whatever they please. You will pay the tax and you will pay the fines when they tell you your one year old car no longer meets the performance standards recently applied to all autos in the USA.. My God. What were the voters thinking in November 2008? Veronica, we have much to fear.
