Steve Fincher Comes on Strong in TN-08

With John Tanner (D-TN) retiring, he opens up a seat that, despite his holding it, leans very much Republican. And already there is a conservative jumping in against two guys who have some dubious issues. I take a great deal of interest in this seat because I have family in the district.

Meet Steve Fincher.

Steve Fincher is a true conservative and the overwhelming choice of local grassroots GOPers, winning the first 8th District straw poll by a landslide margin.

He has been active with the Tea Party movement.

Two Republicans, doctors George Flinn and Ron Kirkland, are probably going to enter the GOP primary

Flinn doesn’t even live in the district; he lives in Memphis, which won’t go over well in the 8th. He gave money to a Democrat running for Congress in ’06, and his son (who works at his father’s company) was a former Democrat candidate for the state legislature who has given to Harold Ford, John Kerry and Steve Cohen.

Kirkland is a Tanner donor who said he wouldn’t have run against Tanner himself.

This one is a no brainer. Steve Fincher is our guy in TN-08.

We are now hearing that State Senator Jim Tracy may run against Bart Gordon in the 6th district. This is good news in that Tracy has a strong chance against Gordon where the current GOP candidate, Lou Ann Zelenik, has no chance. Put on the watch list if Tracy does run.

First there are plenty parts of Memphis and Shelby Co. that are in District 8; I believe Dr.Flinn lives in that area. If we pull Finchers Family Farm records I bet we can find that they have given to a Dems. in the past. And the best dirt you could find on Flinn was that his son is a dem and has given to those dem leaders in the past. Well my brother is a lib (God Bless Him) but he does not affect my views and my votes. And I believe businesses the size of Flinn’s are going to have some dems working for them, even if they are family.
THIS IS A NO BRAINER FOR ME; FLINN HAS MY VOTE
He has created two large businesses from the ground up and is a doctor. What two better combos do we need right now in congress!! Unlike Fincher who is living off his dad?s farm money b/c I don?t know any other farmer who has time to be a traveling gospel singer….
AND I WILL NOT BE SURPRISED IF FLINN DOESNT GET THE NATIONAL TEAL PARTY BACKING since he has worked with them plenty of times.

    Thanks,
    Chad

I can tell you, if george flinn is running for district 8, then I’m definitely voting for him….I have a cousin here in jackson that knows him personally after helping save her life..she showed early signs of cancer within taking a mammogram..they eventually did the appropriate treatments and all signs of the worst seem to have gone.. what conservative has that type of moral backing in which they can say, “I’ve literally help save a life, and have played a hand in doing God’s work!!!”…i mean it makes sense that a doctor, that has a service record as long as his, is now wanting to take his views on continually helping people through other means…

It almost comes down to being simple really…. Now its time to look up Steve Finch..i wonder what he’s done…
