Is Alan Grayson A Republican Now?

Well now, only a few days ago Josh Marshall of Talking Points Memo was crying in his beer about all the violence and threats of violence. He said, “No one who is even remotely honest can pretend that anything about this is bipartisan in character. The Right and yes the national Republican party has been stirring this pot for months.”

From Josh Marshall’s own website this morning we learn Congressman Alan Grayson is calling the GOP “Nazis” and compared the GOP’s alleged threats to the burning of the Reichstag.

Really?

This is the same Alan Grayson who went to the floor of the House of Representatives to tell everyone Republicans want you all to die.

But if it is only Republicans doing stuff like this, I guess we should await Josh Marshall declaring Alan Grayson a Republican. Or will he instead backtrack on his “only Republicans do it” shtick.

Don’t hold your breath on the latter.

We are getting there folks, the pace is picking up, It’s almost day by day now. We could be heading into the consolidation & control phase as the Dems and O feel their oats.
A Christian militia group in Michigan has been raided by the FBI & TSA, several arrests, no mention of particular offenses yet.
In any case timing is everything and peoples attention does need a little direction from Big Brother.

Ah, for the days when dissent was patriotic.

he would kill himself just to prove a point.

to Nazi’s and the violence to KrystalNacht (I’m sure I spelled that wrong). And he described the “Kill the Bill” chant as “homocidal”. And all the libby comments are like “someone needs to stop this, ” “I’m so scared!”

No one is even calling them on the cemetery suicide and the two suicide missions that everyone jumped out and called rightwing and then didn’t correct when the facts come out.

    But, no incitement there.

I’m on the HuffPo a bit and the progressives are always saying, “I wish more congresspeople were like Grayson.” They really love him. It’s pretty amazing.

Their rhetoric is reaching hysterical proportions because they know they have overplayed their hand. They were so hot for the healthcare takeover that they forgot themselves and showed what they were holding.

Now they are desperate for damage control, so they are throwing all the …um…manure they can and hoping some of it sticks. They have to use this kind of rhetoric, screaming it as loud as they can, to drown out their knocking knees.

It will avail them nothing. THE PEOPLE KNOW, and it scares the poop out of them

So far, the Left hasn’t really done anything permanent – all they’ve done is pass a bill the bulk of which is likely to be repealed.

But, give it time – before this is over, I expect them to try to actually *criminalize* dissent, and I don’t put it past them to get some union thugs in law enforcement to use violence against peaceful Tea Party protesters.

When that happens they really will have overplayed their hands, with disastrous and permanent ramifications for the Democrat Party and the American Left.

    Stay tuned…

Marshall is still a lying leftist flack.

Is there any trampling of civil rights by a Democrat that the lefties would find unacceptable? Are they really incapable of comparing Bush “oppression” to Obama oppression? If so, things aren’t just going to get ugly; they’re going to get vicious and explosive.

last night, with no self consciousness.

    And I quote

“This would be a perfect country if WE DIDN’T HAVE THE FIRST TWO AMENDMENTS.”

Let that sink in for ya.

You can’t make this stuff up!!

  • Jack_Savage

    “And Democrats were in charge.”

Or maybe not – it wold be reasonable to assume that if somehow we came to a place where we didn’t have the first two Amendments, Democrats WOULD be in charge.

Please advise your mother that if we didn’t have the First Amendment, she would not be able to voice ANY of her opinions. (Remind her of Chavez shutting down all the TV stations who voiced dissenting opinions.) The Second Amendment protects the First Amendment. Sometimes people just amaze me with what they say.

I’m dealing with a similar situation with an extremely liberal/progressive daughter who thinks the Waxman/Markey bill is the best bill she’s ever seen. I kid you not. (Furiously banging my head against a wall.)
