Talking about the tea parties

For the last thirty minutes that I’ll be on the air on the radio this week, I’m going to talk about the future of the tea party movement.

Tune in at http://www.wmac-am.com.

My premise is simple: the tea party movement needs to stop talking about the tea party movement.

I’ll explain why on the air. You can also call in at 478-742-0940.

    Don’t talk about Fight Club.

about the crowded Rep. pack going after Jim Marshall’s, 8th Congressional District seat? He was against the HC bill way before the vote. So who can beat him?

    That’s 3 to 6 in AZ.

But may the force be with you. Would you consider a permanent gig on the radio?

is still evolving. I hope it doesn’t get too big for its britches, and thus “too big to succeed.” I understand 21 separate groups merged recently, perhaps in Texas and nearby. OK, as long as it doesn’t try to become a Party instead of a party.

The tea parties help us identify who is a real conservative and who is not, among the pundits. The real ones understand the movement, the faux ones don’t.

Scuttlebutt making rounds that Carl Paladino, Republican candidate for NY, is ‘Tea Party’ candidate. Certain Paladino information disclosed, such as emails, etc., is not that flattering and, if true, absolutely disgusting.

First, I do not live in NY. I know nothing about Paladino. That’s not the point of my question (which follows).

We know certain people are trying to co-opt the Tea Party label (see NV). We know certain people are trying to slander/misalign Tea Party activists (see most any liberal/prgressive).

    Question –
How do we really know whether or not someone is truly part of the Tea Party movement and not a usurper or a figment of imagination hoisted by the other side? How can we know? [We do know the MSM will run with any story that is unfavorable.]
