Max Baucus Thinks Increasing the Deficit is Hilarious

David Vitter went to the floor of the Senate today to talk about unemployment benefits and requested that one part of the legislation be pushed forward.

Max Baucus rose and said he wanted the entire package advanced, to which Vitter replied, “Not if it increases deficit and debt $108 billion a year. No sir I’m not, and the American people aren’t and the American people are getting fed up with it.”

Baucus’s response to Vitter’s concerns about increasing the “deficit and debt $108 billion a year”?

He began laughing.

Our “representatives” live a life as disconnected from us as the ultra-rich of the media, entertainment, and the old money types from Boston.

Why should Baucus care about debt or deficits? He doesn’t have to pay any of it. If a typical little o appointee, he probably wouldn’t even pay his required taxes (a la Geithner, Rangel, et. al).

Cong. gets limos and town cars ($2.6 billion: Citizens Ag. Gov?t Waste),free haircuts, cheap cuisine (private cafeteria), free mailing (including Christmas and birthday cards), sycophants for staff, bowing and scraping in restaurants and hotels, and red carpets wherever he it to set its royal foot.

Pol. DC occupants are not so much the disconnected Parliament of George III’s time as the degenerate aristocracy of pre-Revolutionary France, where a count could run over a child in the street with a horse and carriage and laugh all the way back to his chateau.

The big difference here is Baucus would run over the child and then quickly blame a Rep. Reid is supposedly out in NV claiming to Hispanics that Cong. will ram through little o’s version of “immigration reform” as it did health care, so our MASTERS are very well aware of the abominations being foisted on the Am. public.

We have to have the last laugh.

up there looking like he had fallen back into his old SNL role in reaction to Max Baucus and his scary wild-eyed grin. What a nightmare… We will wake up in November 2010.
