Conservatives Begin Rallying to Stutzman

Conservatives have begun rallying en masse for Marlin Stutzman in Indiana.

On Friday, Mark Levin endorsed Marlin Stutzman on the radio. This morning in Indianapolis Dave Keene of the American Conservative Union also endorsed Marlin. I suspect more are coming.

Now Marlin Stutzman is going up on the air with ads. But he needs our help.

Give what you can to Marlin Stutzman. Let’s get this guy to the United States Senate.

    Just dropped him some money.

but did send $5.00 out of my SS check. I have to believe every little bit adds up.

The Evansville Courier and Press had a great write up of him. They did profiles for all 5 GOP candidate, one a day for a week.

    Marlin has my vote.

Trouble is that Hostettler is heavily represented down here in Evansville and I’m afraid Stutzman and Coats are going to split the rest of the state giving Hostettler the victory. Hostettler just got an endorsement from Ron Paul. Hopefully that’ll do enough damage to bring Marlin to the top.

    Good luck Marlin.

Conservatives may be rallying to him nationally, but all that matters is what conservatives do in this state. I’m a big Marlin fan (I’ve donated to him), but right now he’s riding a horse while Hostetler and Coats are on the freight train. He’s got to get things going in the next 10 days… show some significant movement in the polls… bring in some hefty cash… prove that he can actually get votes outside of North Central Indiana. Otherwise, he’ll just be contributing to the split vote on the right, tipping the race to Coats.

I’m no fan of Hostetler’s Iraq vote, but if he’s two points behind Coats on election day, and Marlin’s 10 points behind, I’m probably going to go with Hostetler. I’d rather take the guy who’s right on 9/10 issues, than the guy who’s only right on 7/10. Then again, if Marlin pulls up, I won’t even have to worry about it.

If Levin is going for Stutzman, it’s probably for good reason.

…to donate to the Stutzman “war chest”. Joe Klein would have you brought up on charges.

    Not a good plan.

We need Marlin v Ellsworth in 2010
and Hostettler v Lugar in 2012.

    Go Marlin!

Dan Coats. Even Tommy Thompson knew that.
