Seriously, how do you fail the bar exam FOUR times? Don’t they limit how many times you can take within a certain period – I thought it used to be three times within two years, then at least a year before another try? Or is Alaska different?

The Alaska Supreme Court has stayed an earlier decision to ban the election board to have a list of candidates. A decision will be made tomorrow.
This going to cause a big fight in the courts….

Not only does Murkowski believe she is entitled to the senate seat her daddy gave her, (even though she lost in the primary) but now we find out she flunked the bar exam four times. Four times ?

In contrast, Joe Miller is a graduate of West Point and Yale law school. The choice is obvious next Tuesday. By electing Joe Miller, Alaska voters will be sending a message to DC that the days of business as usual are over.

On the court decision announced today, it doesn’t sound like it will make that big a difference to her, but the McClatchy headline is painting it as a “blow to her write-in bid.” Other article says lists can still be handed out but without party id. Suit was first brought by Murkowski’s close personal friends at the Alaska Democrat Party against the state.

I mean really, why is everyone demonizing Murkowski here? Because Palin endorsed the other guy to settle an old political rivalry?

Murkowski voted against the stimulus, against every part of Obamacare, against the EPA regulating carbon (she’s most assuredly against cap and tax if that ever comes up for a vote), for allowing guns in national parks and interstate transport of concealed firearms, against both Obama’s Supreme Court nominees, for the Stupak amendment, for banning partial birth abortion, etc. etc.

The woman has a conservative voting record, no matter what anyone wants to say here. Most importantly, she won’t vote to put Harry Reid back in charge in the Senate. She’s still a Republican and a conservative even if Sarah Palin doesn’t like her very much.

Just got an e-mail from Miller that he is very short on having enough money to fight Murkowski. I had given to him last week so was on his list. He asked that I pass it on. I hope this is appropriate for this thread!

The Holder vote I believe 2/2/09, TARP 10/1/08. Holder vote reportedly just because she thought the president should have whom he wanted. If there were a debate, which there isn’t because she lost fair and square, these two votes alone have inflicted enormous harm on America.

Aside from the above, many people were well embedded in the Beltway while our country was being lost, lifetimes of work and sacrifice transferred to George Soros’ bank account. Ms. Murkowski has lived a graced life, which is nice for her. She is not the new blood we desperately need.

If Murky steals the election, then Murky will be beholden to labor unions and liberal Native Americans which backed her write-in bid.

Since losing the primary, she has bashed the tea parties and campaigned on more pork for AK.

Murky’s votes on the issues will be for sale. Don’t be surprised if Murky votes with the Dems just to undermine DeMint.

I’ll be glad to see her go down, and to see Miller go up.

I love it how it was the “will of the people” when the Republicans won on Tuesday and a “notice to the President” that his agenda was being rejected, but when Lisa Murkowski’s probable win, by write-in even, becomes more and more apparent, all of the sudden she’s a horrible person. A whiner. A RINO.

Whatever the outcome, it’s the will of the people. It’s what those who voted ultimately wanted.
