Robin Carnahan’s Incompetent Elections

Ah Missouri. Robin Carnahan is the Secretary of State of Missouri — the person who oversees elections:

Missouri officials say they are working to resolve a problem that has prevented local election workers from accessing the statewide voter registration computer system.

Local election officials said they have been unable to access the information most of the day.

As a result, election workers in Kansas City are doing time-consuming manual searches to answer registration questions.

Robin Carnahan is also the Democrats’ Senate nominee in Missouri.

When the person who “oversees” the electoral process in a state is responsible for the integrity of the vote? Compound that with the fact that she is three generations deep in gear-greasing, back-scratching political nepotism, and what could go wrong?

See the link for a graphic representation of what needs to happen to Robin Carnahan and all corrupt Leftist DemComms….

    Mildly NSFW…

Its also looking like they may attempt to keep the polls open past the closing time (like they did a few years ago) to make up for low Dem turnout.

It’s beyond ridiculous that with she and her brother on the ballot, her party taking a drubbing and Dem turnout low that these kinds of serious issues aren’t being reported or fixed.

It’s looking like more than a coincidence.

As a reminder, Carnahan was sued by DOJ for not cleaning the voter roles and then the Obama admin dropped the case…

that making it harder for people in KC (or St. Louis, for that matter) to vote inherently helps Blunt, as KC & STL metro areas are the bluest in the state.

The main advantage is where they keep the polls open past the legal closing time by getting a judge to file an injunction. It’s what they did in 2000 when Mel Carnahan narrowly beat Ashcroft.

you can be sure Roy Blunt and the GOP are going to rightly sue.

Mrs. Carnahan better hope it’s a true glitch and not something done to “help” her.

I suspect that even if a judge orders the polls to stay open longer, it won’t help Robin or the other Democrats. I live in a very blue section of the St. Louis metro area and I am just not seeing the turnout that I did in 2008. Whereas on the radio, people called in from very red areas saying turnout is high.
