Just (A Cost of freedom Fee) and an (all the rest tax). Both Federal.

This will open every ones eyes and give them a chance to see what it cost to run the Federal Government and what it needs to run all the other programs.

The Cost of Freedom Fee, is the Governments operating budget as defined in Article 1 Section 8 only. (no social taxes)

This Fee should paid for in one of two ways.

    1. In part or full by current import tariffs on incoming manufactured goods, not raw materials.

    2. Divide the Fee by the number of people living in the United States. This equals the amount each state must pay per person living in that state.

The lower the budget and more people paying this Fee the lower it will be.

The Federal Government should also charge each state for all taxes required, and the states should be responsible for collecting the money required to pay that tax.

If only 85% of the states true population is identified as legal Fee and tax paying citizens, the state would be forced to identify the remaining 15% and either find a way to collect the Fee and taxes, force them to leave the state under the premise of Fee and tax evasion or just arrest them.

If the state refused to identify the 15% and ease the Fee and tax burden on the remaining 85%, the remaining 85% need to put them out of office and put in someone who will or pass new laws.

All the above would take the Fee and tax collecting requirements away from the Federal Government.

If you find a state that collects these taxes in a better or less intrusive way, either move there, or elect politicians who will do it the same way.

This in turn, really would make all politics local, focusing all Fee and tax collecting on the state. P#ssing everyone off and making sure everything that can be done, will be done, to lower these Fees and taxes.

All the rest tax= all other taxes or monies required of operate the rest of the Federal Government. i.e. SS, Medicare, Medicaid, DOE, DO Education, FCC,FEMA.

“Our country is too large to have all its affairs directed by a single government. Public servants at such a distance, and from under the eye of their constituents, must, from the circumstance of distance, be unable to administer and overlook all the details necessary for the good government of the citizens; and the same circumstance, by rendering detection impossible to their constituents, will invite public agents to corruption, plunder and waste.” –Thomas Jefferson to Gideon Granger, 1800. Please keep an oooooopen mind.
Does anyone see anything in this that is plausible?

    Yes
    No
    Maybe
    No FN way!

Typing stuff like this, is like beating a hornets nest with a stick.

The Mubarak regime has started cracking some skulls out there in Egypt. And now some in Congress aren’t sure that the foreign aid should continue flowing to the Mubarak regime.

Here is an interview with Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Pat Leahy on aid to Egypt and the possibility that such aid might not be forthcoming if Mubarak stays at the helm in Egypt.

An Obama bundler picked for a choice ambassadorship brought the U.S. embassy she led to ?a state of dysfunction? in a year on the job, a State Department probe has found.

Cynthia Stroum, who last month left her post as U.S. ambassador to Luxembourg, was ?aggressive, bullying, hostile and intimidating,? the department?s inspector general said in a report released Thursday. The embassy and its staff face myriad problems, including ?the absence of a sense of direction,? which has ?brought major elements of Embassy Luxembourg to a state of dysfunction.?

Is Obama Swimming Upstream With Campaign Against Salmon Bureaucracy?

    Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/02/04/obama-swimming-upstream-campaign-salmon-bureaucracy/#ixzz1D16faoDd

The salmon bureaucracy, on the night of Obama’s speech, became a symbol of what’s wrong as the administration aims to streamline government. In the states of Washington and Oregon, though, the reaction has been mixed. Environmentalists who have made careers out of suing logging companies and pushing policies to help salmon were happy to hear the president address their life’s work. However, they were not too thrilled with the implication that salmon are receiving too much attention from the government.

Obama is making a statement on the subject in his most recent budget proposal. He is cutting funding to the Commerce Department for salmon efforts by $26 million this year. That comes out to more than 10 percent of its salmon budget.

But don’t cry for the endangered salmon just yet. Obama’s long-range plan is still to spend nearly $10 billion on salmon protection over the next decade.

Why? Why do we need to spend this kind of money for fish?
    Where does that money go?
I think I will start a new organization – PBF “People Before Fish”

How hard could it freakin’ be in Luxembourg????

“Stroum created ?a climate of acute stress? that was ?especially evident among officers and local staff who have been here more than 3 or 4 months,? inspectors found. In the report, they suggested that medical professionals be sent to the embassy ?to evaluate morale and stress levels of staff? and assess the mental health of people who worked for Stroum.”

Buncha sissies. Send ‘em to Egypt.

We should have made Czarina Nancy fly a Saab Turboprop!

Nothing in that story about busted lamps in Luxembourg, but that and more will probably come out in the taxpayer-funded regression therapy.

And let’s not give Michelle the short shrift, either. With all of these White House departures so early in President Jarrett’s administration, we’ll soon be hearing about those flying ashtrays.
