Tim Pawlenty To Make It Official on Monday

Tim Pawlenty will declare his candidacy for the Presidency on Monday.

It’s not like this is unexpected news, but at least he is finally making it official.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a laid-back Midwestern Republican who governed a Democratic-leaning state, is running for president and will declare his candidacy on Monday in the leadoff caucus state of Iowa, an adviser told The Associated Press.

The adviser, who disclosed the plans on the condition of anonymity in advance of next week’s announcement, said Pawlenty will formally enter the race during a town hall-style event in Des Moines, Iowa.

Pawlenty will make the announcement in Iowa.

Pawlenty is a top consideration for pro-life voters. http://www.redstate.com/sertelt/2011/05/15/huckabee-voters-should-consider-pro-life-record-of-tim-pawlenty/

I think you are one of the top three prospective candidates. I look forward to hearing about your campaign & your ideas.

That we are excited about the excellent candidates we have entering the race, that we are enthusiastic about them and may have difficulty deciding between solid choices, and that we are excited in anticipation that many of them could wipe the floor with O’s butt.

None of this whining about imperfections or needing other options.

I would say Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, and Herman Cain all tie on the right to life issue. All others are either non-impassioned about the issue, or have blatantly held the other opinion (Romney).

I know I neglected Santorum and Palin, but I don’t think Santorum will make it to Iowa, and Palin is not running (I’m betting)

T-Paw isnt super exciting but I’m willing to give these guys a chance to make their case in the debates.

I like Pawlenty and unless something strange happens, he is the one I intend to support. It’s a two-fer – he comes closest to me in terms of priorities and beliefs and I also consider him to be the most electable.

to be aggressive to overcome his milktoast aura.
Palin face and body language says not running.
    Newt isn’t worth this line.
    Cain needs to sustain.
    Daniels doesn’t want it.
    Romney could steamroll.
    May the best win.
