In any case, Gov. Romney may have donated to Planned Parenthood etc., but he fought consistently for the pro-life cause as Governor, as the NRLC and the SBA List know, which is why they’ve both endorsed him. He made a speech to NRLC recently, I believe.

but what good are your constant drumbeats to pound at Romney? He will be the Rep’s pres. nominee, and the point is not to produce the perfect candidate for Reps. but to defeat obama at all costs.

Some posts are beginning to sound suspiciously like retreads of complaints against McCain in 2008, and we see how successful those criiticisms and attacks were.

Can you cite for me where this action is recorded? The Mormon Church instructs its members as part of their religious teachings that they cannot use ANY type of birth control. every child is sent by God and no member can interfere with that. I have served in public office and sometimes you vote for something you don’t want in order to be able to bring the subject up at a later time. Read Robert’s Rules of Order and you will find it there. It’s called” voting on the prevailing side”. Romney was a Mormon bishop(same job as a parish priest,) and I have a hard time being convinced he was in favor of abortion.

1. The federal Government makes all states give wellfare, healthcare, and K-12 education. Along with that, the feds keeps states from deporting illegals on their own.
2. The instate tuition is not free. If you would bother to find out the facts, you would know that the illegals have to pay thier own way, no handouts.
3. Perry is for strategic placing of the fence. Tell me how you build a fence in the middle of the Rio Grande river.
Perry has also dispatched National Guard, Texas Rangers on the Texas border along with the Border Patrol, at the expence of the state of Texas,
something the Feds won’t do.

Before you spout off, you should at least get a hint of what the facts are.

He doesn’t want to build the fence and he is against e verify, which would ensure that Americans get jobs and not illegals. Perry just wants the illegals so that Big Ag gets cheap labor. Screw that, at least Romney has the guts to say that illegals should leave.

I don’t have a heart because I am sick and tired of free tuition, welfare and food stamps for millions of illegals? Take a hike Perry!

I don’t have a pet like most. I have a couple of candidates I like most for different reasons. I will gladly vote for any of the other candidates except for Romney and Paul because neither is a conservative again for different reasons. A conservative does not govern like Obama on many issues and then conveniently flip flop back to being a conservative to win the GOP nod. And a conservative does not back islamofascists over one of our best allies.

So bang away and tell me with a straight face how Romney the self proclaimed moderate progressive is conservative.

RS can promote the GOP including the RINO’s if it wants.

Believe me if Romney wins the GOP nomination and even if he does get elected he all but destroys the TPM and conservatism for that matter.

It’s not even just about principle it’s better long term strategy for the GOP if Romney loses.

We already whacked one commenter for banging the “I’LL NEVER VOTE FOR HIM!!!11!” drum too hard. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings to do it again.

This site promotes “conservative in the primary, GOP in the general”. Promoting the idea of not voting for the nominee because your pet candidate didn’t get chosen is contraindicated.

I really don’t know how anyone who calls themselves conservative can vote for a guy that will just say anything to get elected. I use to think the GOP was better than this.
