and is spending much time on college campuses talking about conservative ideas. So to me, any black man with his credentials can only help the R campaign. I’m glad he didn’t the nomination for some reasons but won’t talk badly about him or his value in spreading a good message on capitalism and individual freedom.

Take a look at the county-by-county results there, hero. McCain won nearly every county in a state that has over a half a million more registered Dems than Repubs.

In case you’re counting, that came out to a 16.4% victory…and that was when he was “hope and change” instead of crash and burn.

After 2010 the south almost became a single party region after the GOP picked up so many seats in states and national races HILL and POLITICO AL noted GOP gains. .

Obama seems dismissive of the voters in several southern states 2012 as if he could care less if these life time Democrats issues are addressed.

Is Obama ready to admit most the south and swing states are not worth keeping in his party?

Is the new Democratic party a regional party of a few large centers and hubs?

How do other Democrats feel about that abandonment of several states?

Is the DNC too liberal and one sided now or should it represent more traditonal views?

It looks to me that Obama may have not have written off the south and border states, he may have lost them.

On to Texas and Missouri. That Dem presidential primary will be rivoting.

I am a conservative in CA but I question this diary about claims like

1. “Obama’s Bain ads are not working ”
2. Kentucky and Arkansas results “Not good for an incumbent president”

On the surface these claims seem like they are true. But IMO these claims mean nothing. Lets deal with these claims one by one

The Bain ad nothing working on the conservatives/Republicans is no surprise to me at all. However, the MSM is slowly generating a discussion on this makes it worrisome.
Romney’s key strength is his glowing experience in the PE industry. If that strong qualification is rendered worthless, Romney has nothing strong to debate on (No ObamaCare etc). However, breaking this key strength cannot be achieved in a day or a week. The O camp is setting this up as a discussion that would be had over a course of months leading up to the election. This is NOT good for us. I dont want our candidate’s key strength to be put up for discussion this early in the cycle.

The KY and AR results are just a protest vote. Remember, Romney never made it above 40% in most of the conservative states. However, we will still vote R in the election. In the same manner, I do expect all these democrats in KY and AR to vote D in the general. Nothing changes.

It looks like Axelrod decided a hostage video of Corey Booker recanting was as affective as first thought so they made Steve Rattner send a hostage letter to the NY Times recanting what they said and had their website at Politico run a hit job on Booker, Rattner, Rendell, and Ford saying they were all biased towards private equity. The problem for #ObamaSurrogates like Booker, Rattner, Rendell, Ford and Rosen is they have a hard time remembering which #ObamaLie they are supposed to tell this week. They need a lieing textbook, I’d recommend “Dreams From My Father”.

good Vice Presidential Candidate. Several names come to mind but not Rubio or Christi. both of them are good guys but we need them where they are. I think we need Jindal or perhaps Ros-Lehtinen or even the 9-9-9 man. We will have to wait and see but I hope we get one that can put the Dems on their butts and lead the charge effectively.

We need both Senate and House to be solidly in the Republican (Conservative) camp. NO RINOs!

The interesting thing is how disorganized and undisciplined the Obama campaign seems to be. There is a rhythm to a campaign, and it is good from a Republican perspective to see Obama prematurely using up his “attack on women”, “rally the gays”, and Bain Capital arguments with Biden, Booker, Rendell, and others preempting or undercutting him.
On the flip side, Romney will be strategic, organized, and disciplined. Note his repudiation of the Reverend Wright commercials and his quick response in ads and on the internet to Obama’s attacks. This will be a much better campaign than McCain’s – all substance aside.

The big surprise in Kentucky’s Democratic primary was Uncommitted at 40% while in Arkansas John Wolfe scored a similar win close to 40%. Wolfe has received 12% of the presidential primary vote in LA. He is on the Democratic presidential primary ballots in Texas and Missouri.

I read a report last night that this TN lawyer has campaigned in Arkansas. Perhap he will also campaign in future states. It is unclear if he is to the left or right of Obama on any issue. If Wolfe is opposed to EPA mining policies then his campaign may have legs as a challenger so serious he can not be ignored.

Hang in there, Mr Wolfe!
