1. Air Force Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh

Yesterday in Atlanta, Barack Obama formally abdicated his role as Commander in Chief to become Chief Victim. Those dirty Republicans are outspending him.

In fact, this may be the first time Barack Obama has ever been outspent and he just can’t handle rejection.

In 2008, the Annenberg Public Policy Center reported that Barack Obama outspent John McCain 3 to 1 and “raised more money than anyone in the history of U.S. politics.”

Turn about would be fair play except the present President has the temperament of a four year old and the skin of an onion. Consequently, he is forced to whine.

The simple truth is that rich leftists have not continued being rich leftists by being stupid. Even rich leftists will not throw good money after bad. People are, right now, voting with their wallets to reject Barack Obama and the trend will, hopefully, continue.

Bluntly, had Barack Obama not spent the past three years implementing policies that lowered the standard of living of many of his most ardent supporters, his supporters might have more money to give.

Now he’ll just tour the country whining.

2. Charlotte Democratic convention’s appeal simply becoming more selective

It would appear that the Democratic party cannot afford a fourth day of festivities, to the point where they’re going to cancel their orignial kickoff event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. But don’t worry: the ceremonial anointing of The One will still be taking place at the Bank of America Stadium. Hold on, let me repeat that, for the benefit of the six remaining progressives out there who are still pretending that the President cares about their somewhat sad attempt to create a populist movement.

3. Obama Terminates 287(g) Immigration Enforcement Program. Anyone Home?

December 2010 was not ancient history; it was a mere 18 months ago.

On December 8, 2010, using the proper legal channels to change our immigration laws, the Democrat-controlled House passed the DREAM Act. Just 4.5% of Republicans supported it, even though it represented a “long-term solution” and was introduced in Congress. A week later, the bill failed to win 60 votes in the Senate, as only 3 Republicans supported it; Lisa Murkowski, Robert Bennett, and Dick Lugar. Some might even be brazen enough to call them RINOs.

That was 18 months ago. Now, after Obama has illegally implemented administrative amnesty to reflect that law that failed to pass the Senate, Republicans are largely silent. With the exception of Lamar Smith, Steve King, and a handful of rank-and-file members, Republican leaders have either remained silent, punted to Mitt Romney for a response, or offered some non-sequitur about long-term solutions vs. short-term solutions. Not only are they terrified to oppose the underlying policy, which will bankrupt us with subsidized tuition, refundable tax credits, and sundry transfer programs, most of them have issued only a tepid response to Obama’s end-run around Congress.

4. Shale Fracking: If it Keeps Moving, Regulate it

Shale technology coupled with horizontal drilling has created the biggest oil and natural gas boom in recent years. Fracking could become the most auspicious innovation of the past decade. It has already created thousands of jobs, and has the potential to drive down the cost of energy and reinvigorate our economy. Unfortunately, the more successful the private innovation, the more Obama’s regulatory regime will ensure it faces inexorable obstacles.

Rather interesting, and we’ll have to prepare to stop this, of course.

at what was on front of Politico today. Look at the title of one of their articles:

    “GOP plan for ‘Obamacare’: Nothing”

    Liberal media…again!

  • commonsenseobserver

But it’d be great if Boehner had something up his sleeves. Like organising a surprise appearance with Romney and McConnell to announce a comprehensive, step-by-step plan for common-sense reform a couple of days after the ruling.

Mitt needs to clearly contrast his vision with Obama’s.

So thanks for watching your language going forward.

First the broken down car that is CNN…
In a tale of how in the heck is she employed, Donna Brazile quotes every economist working for Barack Obama. Shockingly, they all agree the former CEO of Bain Capital knows less about capital than the former community organizer.

Moving on Julian Zelizer trying to debunk the rumor that everyone at CNN except Eric Erickson reports to David Axelrod actually gives a balance take on what Obama hopes to gain in his war on Hispanics. Hint: it has to do with splitting the GOP.

Mass celebration ensues in the CNN newsroom, Quinnipiac polls show Obama leading in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. Except, the polls show that Romney is leading; uh Obama is at 45% and undecided don?t break for the incumbent, they have actually decided to vote the incumbent out of office. Well unless Mitt Romney pulls a John Edwards, but really John Edwards is special; it is hard to get that combination of arrogance and sliminess in one person.

Meanwhile at Obama?s favorite website, Politico?

Progressives to Obama – “Where o where are you tonight, why did you leave us here all alone. I searched the world over and thought I’d found true love; You met another, and PFFT! You was gone!” Seriously, progressive Dems think Obama has abandoned them in the class war. Madcow, Big Eddie, and Larry O need to do a better job of ?informing? the base.

McConnell and Reid compromise on student loans. Why do I have a feeling this doesn?t end well?

Doom will ensue if SCOTUS strikes down health care and it will be all the bible toting, gun clinging, tea partying Republicans fault for having no plan for health care.

The GOP is lost on immigration. More correctly, Politico is trying to goad Romney to fall into that turd pile that Julian Zelizer wrote about on CNN.

Simon says the idiotic things Simon says. Seriously at this point, Politico ought to admit Roger Simon is a pseudonym for David Axelrod.

Finally, what oh what is wrong with CNN. The old lady has fallen and she can?t seem to get up. One quarter the ratings of Fox News. Maybe it is hiring boring hacks like Donna Brazile who have nothing interesting to say and then giving them air time. Seriously, when is the last time CNN put Eric Erickson on the air? Do we need to put EE?s picture on a milk carton? Oh wait, ?balanced? CNN has no more use for Eric Erickson since he wouldn?t be worshipping Barack Obama, Our King.

Well there is a spin through the MSM, I read the tripe so you don’t have too. One of these days I might dedicate 3 hours to Madcow, Big Eddie and Larry O, but then again there is a risk I’d be looking to poke my eyeballs out and puncture my eardrums after 15 minutes of Madcow’s chalkboard screeching.

  • westcoastpatriette

of Congress against Holder. Didn’t get their names. Must really be concerned about reelection to betray the pack.

  • westcoastpatriette

    fox

  • Common_Cents

In John Kings slot. But they won’t, because it’d make The Blitz look even more terrible than he is.

Gotta love the hack Soledad Obrien, doing obama bumps, focusing for 15 min of a show on why Romney won’t get down in the mud with obama on immigration. CNN drools over one little point they think they have on Romney, “he won’t give an answer on immigration!!!!” obrien was smacked down by Matalin saying Romney has a white paper out and gave over an hour speech on immigration to a Latino group, without notes or a teleprompter! Obrien is too fricken biased and lazy to even research anything. Never mind they never apply the same scrutiny to Baraka. No wonder CNN sucks. They have become total ObamaGanda.

If ratings get any worse for radical left wing ObamaGanda media, the DEMS will want to nationalize the ratings citing national security and manipulate them like the unemployment rate.

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

It could hardly draw worse ratings than Erin Burnett or Piers Morgan. Seriously, someone thought replacing Larry King with Piers Morgan was a good idea? Then again, the Dems are desparate, that lowlife Larry O has a TV show (seriously Anderson Cooper can’t beat that lowlife). I didn’t think the Dems could go any lower than that arrogant, lunatic Olberman but they hit rock bottom with him, grabbed a shovel and started to dig.

    Well?

  • lineholder

ROFL. Thanks for sharing the info.

It fits in with the decision they made about the swimming pools, too…you know, the one that requires lifts for people to get into and out of the pool.

And as far as this admin is concerned, this is part of how government “creates jobs”…expanding regulatory measures to “stimulate the economy”.

They make great examples of what we can expect (in massive quantities) if Obama gets re-elected.

Wonder how they reconcile Biden’s comments with Obama’s statement that “the private sector is doing fine”?

  • PowerToThePeople

    just to get him started.

It is really a plant site by Ron Paul in order to discredit Romney before the convention.

    or

Romney knows no one loves him, so he created a ton of pages to make it look like people actually get involved in his campaign.

Sowing the seeds, waiting for the harvest.

Martha Zoller is a strong Conservative running for the new Georgia’s 14th District. She is pro-life, very fiscally responsible, and would be an incredible congresswoman!

    Here’s her website: http://marthaforcongress.com/

I don’t remember…but I think Mr. Erickson may have endorsed her.?.?

  • PowerToThePeople

I knew the moment he announced Biden as his running mate, one of two things were true.

    A) He was such an incompetent politician that he thought Biden was a good choice for anything above dog catcher

    Or

    B) He was so insecure about himself he had to have a buffoon beside him to make himself look a bit better.

Either way, speaks volumes about the moron.

  • lineholder

It’s being suggested that Biden’s quote may be a take off from either Truman, who said “It’s a recession when your neighbor loses his job; it’s a depression when you lose your own”, or Reagan, who said “A recession is when your neighbor loses his job,” Reagan said during the 1980 presidential campaign. “A depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.”

And that’s exactly how Romney should respond…repeating Biden’s words, then adding, “and a recovery is when Barack Obama loses his”.

Anyway, here’s the Reagan’s speech that includes the quote….

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

The incumbent selling “woof” tickets that we are in depression. If I were Reince Priebus, I’d run a commercial that showed Joe Biden saying “Your out of work, It is a depression for millions and millions of people” over and over and just end it with the tag Obama Isn’t Working (and neither are millions and millions of Americans). Ole Axe’d probably stroke out. Of course, we’d have to balance that with Joe would be kicked off the ticket and probably exiled to Siberia but oh the fun Jay Carney having to walk that one back.

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

This is a gaffe so large I can hardly believe a professional politician even Joe Biden uttered it…

“Popular girls” had someone “of lesser caliber’ as a ‘Best Friend’? My school had more than it’s share of this *Quest for Comparison*.
This is, as it always was.
But who knew just how much ‘lesser’ V P Joey was going to be?

Where’s the infomercial with all the gaffes? There has to be a minor gold mine there, somewhere…….

  • lineholder

Apparently Biden also made the following the comments…

“I’ve convinced myself you all love me…”

    AND

“Close your eyes and picture what the Supreme Court will look like 4 years from now under Romney”

This just gets better and better, doesn’t it?

Wonder if they have the whole speech up on YouTube yet?

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

Saying we are in a depression and millions and millions of Americans lost their jobs while being the incumbent VP is a Hall of Fame moment. I wish I were a fly on the wall when Ole Axe and his majesty get a look at this one.

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

rules that Florida can proceed with purging it’s voter rolls of ineligible voters. Judge Hinkle rejects Justice Department arguments. Another defeat for Eric Holder’s Justice Department. Millions of dollars spent trying Barry Bonds, Roger Clemons, John Edwards and this turd of a case. Total win: Barry Bonds gets 30 days for obstruction of justice. Holder’s DOJ incompetent trying cases and building cases.
