1. Mitt Romney is Too Far to the Right . . .

The casual consumer of news hears it all the time and not just from Democratic pundits. Reporters, pundits, and concern trolls in the media fret that Romney has had to move too far right. He’s just too conservative.

These same people never stop to examine Barack Obama. Between the two, Barack Obama has repeatedly surrounded himself with people who actually don’t much care for the United States. Writing that may anger people, but it is actual, factual, fact.

Instead of considering if Mitt Romney is too far to the right, perhaps we should consider if Barack Obama is too far to the left.

2. The Cycle of Government: Subsidize the Living; Tax the Dead; Benefit the Corporate Cronies

In recent weeks, we’ve been subjected to mellifluous pandering to our nation’s farmers by liberals in both parties. They admonish us about the need to provide farmers with a “safety net” and to protect them from catastrophic events. To that end, they are pushing a massive $1 trillion Ag subsidy, which happens to contain over $750 billion in food stamp spending.

Aside for the fact that crop insurance is something that should be dealt with in the private sector, these supporters of Ag subsidies – especially the Democrats – are hypocritical in their treatment of farmers.

3. Another Senseless, Preventable Death Lies At The Door of Planned Parenthood

A young woman has died after having a second-trimester abortion at a Chicago-area Planned Parenthood clinic. Tonya Reaves, 24, died late Friday night, according to a local CBS television station, of hemorrhage, with a cervical dilation and evacuation, according to the medical examiner’s office following an autopsy after the abortion that claimed her life.

Stephanie Cutter is acting as the admin’s mouthpiece for the day via this video. (Sorry, I only got through about 1 1/2 minutes of it without pulling a Joe Wilson and shouting “you lie” at my computer screen.)

Basic fact is that there is a vast amount of difference between the policies that support state-managed capitalism and those that support free-market capitalism. Doing an objective situational analysis (high unemployment, people dropping lies flies out of the job market, increasing dependency on every safety net social program we’ve got and the unsustainability of that rate of dependency), Mitt’s got a HUGE opening here to draw a stark contrast between himself and President Obama by illustrating how what our nation needs MOST right now is to see growth and development in the private sector via free-market activities rather than state-managed capitalistic endeavors.

I hope he’ll go for it, because this gets to the very crux of the matter….which do we choose? If we go with the Obama admin and state-managed capitalism, then we’ll see taxes go up and freedom go down. If we go with free-market capitalism, then we still might have a chance to turn things around!!

when she said the wealthy CEO and founder of Bain Capital for a decade and 1/2 didn’t know anything about the economy unlike the President who has never held a job in his life outside of academia or political office.

according to Wikipedia, Stephanie Cutter doesn’t have an ounce of private sector experience either.

H/t to the guy who called Rush Limbaugh’s show today talking about this. First coast-to-coast highway. Built by private sector business owners. Good story.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Highway

Built in 1913, before the highway divisions of federal government even came into existence. (Totally blows Obama’s theory out of the water!) If it weren’t for the efforts of these individual citizens, we may not even have a national highway system. It was built by method of private bond investment (same method that was often used for early railroads)

The highway will be celebrating its 100th anniversary next year.

Obviously they’re freaking out about how much damage “you didn’t build that” is doing. Seriously…to let their talking points become public IN ADVANCE???

“The problem is the President believes this garbage” = Romney’s Grumpy Old Man.

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

So 8.2% unemployment and record levels of poverty was the goal all along. Sununu is epic again…new term “Corey Bookered”. At 4:05, the President claimed “his plan worked”. Enjoy
