Grabbed today by those peace-loving Somali pirates, a CHEMICAL TANKER was crewed by chaps from India. Three British security personnel either jumped overboard or were “assisted” that way and were eventually rescued by a French ship.
In related news, we now have a Reuters website page from India keeping track of “shipping appropriations” BELIEVED TO BE HELD under the Somali flag………
From the article, the last three sentences……. “Forty ships have been hijacked this year, including a Saudi supertanker loaded with $100 million worth of crude oil Nov. 15. Pirates demanding multimillion-dollar ransoms hold 15 ships and nearly 300 crew. Somalia, an impoverished nation in the Horn of Africa, has not had a functioning government since 1991.”

Maybe Germany is getting in because of Siemens. The company just got sacked by Iran from the contract for building their “peaceful reactor”, so they need to do something to save face.
After all, that one hijacked ship carrying radioactive and chemical “whatever” destined for Iran is still docked “somewhere” and nobody can get near the cargo without dying.

The US knows who are friends are, and frankly many of these ships are not flying flags from countries that have been all that kind to US interests or US Military.
Let the UN, the French, Germans and Russians handle it, besides they won’t be bound by the ACLU or the liberal MSM in this country. Come to think of it, just let the French deal it with, they are brutal on this sort of stuff.
