Drudge Sold Out to Establishment/Romney

After the debate last night I am gratified to know that at least in the spoken word our four candidates are mostly headed away from BHO and in a direction I’d rather the country go. I’m still undecided and in the ABR camp (Anybody But Romney), however, my vote can be swayed.

I was on Redstate chat during the debate and hands down Newt won. We all agreed I think. those that didn’t agree thought their candidate did the best who ever they were sold out for in the first place. This morning I find Drudge with a voting graphic up asking who I though won the debate. Imagine my surprise when the tally came back as the image I’ve inserted here!?!

I’m fully okay with people having a differing opinion than I do (and I expect it). The Drudge Report is fully in the tank for the Romney camp and are lending credence to a suspected deal between him and Ron Paul over something. Could it be a RAND Paul VP nomination? Hmmmmm. Time will tell.

In any event I still am open to information and am gathering/evaluating it all ahead of Super Tuesday. I am NOT interested in attack ads; defense ads, yes. I want to see more of Newt’s positive spin, going after BHO, and why I should vote FOR someone, not AGAINST someone.

I’m against Barack Hussein Obama. I’m against the Socialist direction this country is taking. I’m against the anti-exceptionalist stance this administration is taking around the world. Tell me what you are FOR? Tell me why I should be FOR YOU? Tell me what You will DO to make my beloved country great again? This I can get behind. This I can volunteer for. This I can donate money too (when the companies in this country aren’t scared stiff about the next piece of legislation/regulation and start hiring again).

just like I got to CNN, MSNBC, et al. I’ll just couch what I find with the idea that it has an angle of supporting the establishment.

  • urherex

that will get me to go to his page again.
    I when I’ve it, I’ve had it.
Did you look at the BadBlue site?
    It’s better than Drudge, More
    headlines, and better organized.
    I works for me.

bigger bolder print. And needs to organize stories to point out what the site owner thinks are most important. If I disagree with him, I’ll scan through the rest. But I don’t want to sift through 50 dungpiles to find one pony.

except for last night when I heard they had a poll up about who won the debate.

I went there for the political stories, not the human interest stuff. When he quit bringing the news and started spreading the manure, I no longer have a reason to return unless I forget the name of some website he permanently links to.

I won’t go to Drudge either at least til the general if not longer.

Romney had a strong debate performance. Santorum had a week one.

    • http://www.firstchevalier.com Mark Malcolm

Yes, Santorum performed poorly and yes Romney did better than he did, but the Drudge poll is lunacy considering how well Newt did in the debate. I wouldn’t go so far as to use the word ‘strong’ in association with Romney’s performance either. Who do you support? I bet that’s mostly a rhetorical question too.

      • keepcoolwithcoolidge

are always spammed by campaign organizations. Romney and Paul have the campaign organizations to spam them. How is that Drudge’s fault.

        • Seedyrom

better software to remove repeat IP addresses as well as traffic coming from one site too often as well traffic coming from non home pages ususally comes from emails, twitter of forums. Meaning fake polls.

          • keepcoolwithcoolidge

you want to pose a mandate on a private individual because you don’t like the poll results. Again, I fail to see how Drudge “sold out” because he didn’t pay lots of money for software.

          • Seedyrom

anyone can vote as often as they want skewing the polls making them worthless. Drop the mandate robotic stuff, its about honor and Drudge has none. Drudge sold out siding with Romney money, how else do you think so many ads against Romney’s opponents always stack at the top. They pay for a couple of days and the dirtbags write a bunch of lies that sucker people into false impressions of Romney’s opponents. As bad as the National Review selling out.

  • urherex

sold out, and became Mitts righthand man I,
stopped going to his page. I found (I think)a
new site, BadBlue. It’s modeled after Drudge,
without the Gingrich, Santorum hit peaces.
    Check it out.

BadBlue looks good to me. I found RS last year and like it a lot but the drudge is out. Bunch of guttersnipes just like the DailyKOS.

  • Repair_Man_Jack

that Drudge front page with the flexing Mitt Romney was a parody worthy of John Stewart.

This used to be the rickperryreport.com. It is a blog written by Joe Hyde of TX. It has been re-formated recently and pulls stories from all over. You can comment and vote on the articles. It is pretty good. I enjoy it.
