Many people in Illinois and elsewhere are not aware that the Illinois State Constitution allows citizens to initiate changes to the Constitution without lawmakers approval. Rhode Island Redistricting

I wonder if Rhode Island have two at large districts (statewide districts) instead of two similar to what they have now, would benefit of hurt republicans? Personally I think it would be easier to recruit candidates. Plus it would be eaiser to gain senate seats if a house memeber is already elected statewide. Allen West should run against Nelson, and since I doubt Jeb will run, and i don’t think Bill McCollum will either. Plus if his seat was open it may allow for easier redistricting , we would not have to worry about one more incumbent to protect.
