Donkeys’ elephant-like memory justfies Palin-phobia

They regularly lose to conservatives like Sarah

The Governor of Alaska is an unapologetic, unabashed Reagan conservative who echos the truth to power messages rarely heard from other elected conservatives too afraid of Obama and the Drive-by political correctness media police. Democrats have won the past two election cycles and now hold large majorities in both houses of Congress.

Yet, despite the triumph of liberalism, the Left doesn’t use its precious media time to attack potential threats to its power from moderate Republicans that the Drive-bys’ conventional wisdom deems more “electable” in the Age of Obama.

Rather, they regularly, relentlessly, and viciously attack the Sarah Palin, the Vice-Presidential loser that failed the Katie Couric test and returned to viewing Russia from her backyard.

Why does the Left perceive as the number one threat to retaining their power, a Republican loathed by a large and vocal minority of the GOP?

Why? Maybe because the Left has never lost its power to that particular minority of the GOP represented by Colin Powell and much of the beltway, country club blue blood Rockefeller elites.

When they lose, they lose to Republicans like Sarah Palin, and many recall their most anxious moments during the 2008 general election campaign were those weeks after Palin’s nomination was announced when McCain actually lead for the first time, before he blew the race by embracing the bank bailout.

Recent polls show that a majority of Americans are now pro-life, that conservatives now out-number moderates, and that women are much more likely to vote Democrats.

Palin is a walking, talking repudiation of the entire feminist myth of the Left that declares liberalism as the only enlightened view. And her decision to bring to term a baby in her womb confirmed as having Downs Syndrome grossly exposes the barbarity of the Leftists’ religious sacrament of abortion. DC wasn’t down with her, baby?

Moreover, Palin defends herself and conservatism when attacked, unlike former President George “new tone” W. Bush and John maverick McCain. Democrats don’t like Republicans that “break the rules” by questioning the liberal templates of the beltway that never allow conservatives to question the motives and judgment of the Left.

Sarah Palin is in a position to own the conservative base that Gallup now measures as 40% of the American people. She has the fighting quality akin to that of the kind of Republicans that win over Reagan Democrats.

And, she is a woman.  And we have seen this past week in the aftermath of the David Letterman affair, even feminists that regularly stand mute when abortion rights-protecting Democrats abuse women and when conservative pro-life women are abused, have come to her defense.

Palin can take the heat even with Obama at 62% approval. As his ratings drop, some elected Republicans in DC will grow a little courage. They are puny compared to Sarah.

The Left fears her. They should. It seems that donkeys have better memories than many elephants these days.

Honestly GC, I dont understand why the GOP doesnt do more to get her out there into the public view, and, I dunno, build her up a little?

I think she should be doing the sunday circuits and all that. At least go back on Kudlow more regularly. Maybe Im wrong.

All we have been hearing from the concern trolls on the left is how we have to move toward the middle and nominated some sensible moderates or we can’t ever win.

So if they really believed that, why would they be so damn wet knickers scared of Palin?

There’s a huge cultural difference between the people who were educated and live in Boswash (who are influential there) and those who just live there, and those who live elsewhere. They don’t want to surrender that sense of cultural superiority.

Peggy Noonan had it bad and I had it for a few minutes myself, as a vestige. Palin was made to look “sick” because she was too viviparous. Then it became — fecund. After that there were whispers that she was “loose” — according to Ron Howard and Henry Winkler. That continued right into David Letterman’s jokes, it’s all the same thread. It was about making her and her family seem cheap, vaguely sick and ‘lowlife’: that’s what his jokes were about.

They’re really racist jokes, all of the ones he told stem from the kind of racism that liberals keep bottled up and then use when they see something that threatens them. We’ve seen it before. It’s always the same technique. David Letterman did it because he’s had them bottled up for a long time, but Sandra Bernardt started it. And Sandra Bernhardt is really an ugly human being. Before that there was John Edwards’ website dominatrix.

Noonan should be apologizing too. She couldn’t resist jumping on that bandwagon.

But here’s the thing: I’m really sick of people having to apologize for all the crass things they actually think. I just happen to think that David Letterman is an a***ole, and I’m not apologizing for it.

They’re just twisted up people, Mike, that’s all there is to say. They’re never going to be untwisted, it’s just how they normally bend.

They hate her because they’ve made the decision to compromise themselves and think that anyone who doesn’t means that something might be wrong with them, and they can’t stand it. It drives liberals crazy to think that someone might actually not be as twisted and broken up as they are themselves.

I agree completely! Sarah Palin is a true conservative LEADER. She adheres to the same conservative principles in office that she did prior to office–a virtue lacking in most elected “conservatives.”

uhhh…that’s what we did with McCain! That’s why he was called the Maverick-he wasn’t typical party line and was even best buds with Lieberman! In case you don’t remember we got our butts kicked!!

Moving to the right is a far better idea and who better to lead us there than Palin?? She is the perfect example of an ethical, intellegent, patriotic, and capable American woman-the kind of person anyone’s daughters should look up to–nothing would be better than for her to be America’s first female president.

PartyUnity My Ass! When Hillary lost the nomination, they turned their support to Palin. I suspect many of them will continue with that support if Palin runs in 2012.

That “large and vocal minority of the GOP that loath her” do so because they have as much fear of her usurping their prescious power, as does the Obama Admin. Every time she speaks, she makes them look small, ineffective and confused as to what Republicanism/Conservatism really is, especially McLame. Palin is probably the only thing he has gotten right in 20 years. Thank you for giving us this gift you old fool, she is the gift from you that has come with some unintended consequences for you.

opposed TARP, given that her VP nomination had put them ahead in the polls, the two jackasses now running the country would be glue by now.
