MEMBER DIARY

Obama bitterly clinging to Rev. Wright’s god, Navy Seal guns and gay marriage sympathy money

So, we are supposed to re-elect President Obama because Bain Capital killed jobs when Romney didn’t work there, Osama bin Laden is dead and Barack evolved the day after Tar Heels stood their ground against same-sex marriage?

For at least two days last week the Obama Media news cycle was dominated by a non-existent campaign ad featuring Barack Hussein Obama’s 20-year relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The “news reports” did not even link the fictional ad to the Romney Campaign.

Immediately after that frenzy died down, the Obama Campaign began running a real TV ad attacking the private equity company Mitt Romney used to run as a heartless job killer. That subject dominated the Sunday Obama Media Shows even the acts complained of in the ad were committed when Romney was not with the company.

One would think that if private equity firms were so evil that they could have found evidence of same while Obama’s opponent was with the firm and that a coherent media would apply their “Jeremiah Wright Rule” to the non-story.  But then again, the Rev. Wright media rule went further than any rejection of  ”guilt by association” coverage since then Senator/Candidate Obama was absolved from an actual very close 20-year association by claiming he wasn’t present for the incendiary “God Damn America” sermons, including one that delivered the following:

Who cares about what a poor black man has to face every day in a country and a culture controlled by rich white people? Somebody missed that. You got nervous because we got some white members here. I am still in Bible country. I am still in the text. Jesus was a poor black man who lived in a country and who lived in a culture that was controlled by rich white people!

This conservative considered the President’s relations with the man that baptized his children and inspired the title of his second biography as very relevant in 2008 as a predictor of the policies he would pursue if elected and we think that many of his actions in office confirm that relevance. We also find the timing of the Bain attacks interesting, coming as they do after Obama’s recent electoral embarrassment  in West Virginia in losing over 40% of the Democratic Primary vote to an incarcerated felon and confession of support for gay marriage.

Did anyone even moderately informed about American politics ever believe that Obama wasn’t for gay marriage? We don’t think so and the real news coming out of his evolution is that the pro-gay marriage money that was threatened to be withheld before the 60+/40 vote against gay marriage in N.C., will begin flowing into Obama’s “Forward!” campaign coffers after so tepid an endorsement by the President that essentially supports the state’s rights status quo.

The President is in electoral trouble due mainly to his failure to advance policies to turn the economy around. He is probably reminded of the last time defeat was staring him in the face before the 2008 Pennsylvania Democratic Party presidential primary when, as polls showed him losing badly to Hillary Clinton, he was recorded on tape at a San Francisco fundraiser explaining why some voters opposed him:

And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

One wonders if Obama would consider himself to be a “bitter clinger” since he described his evolved position as equating same-sex marriage as a civil “right”. If one has a right to a certain freedom, aren’t those that favor states rights over a civil right even worse than a “bitter clinger”?

But no worries, Mitt Romney is a greedy white former CEO of Bain, Osama bin Laden remains dead, and Spike Lee and the New Black Panther Party are free to wield billy-clubs at Pennsylvania polls and set bounties for vigilante justice against “white” Hispanics.

Think about your church – can you imagine if your pastor cursed America in church?!? Even if you weren’t there, everyone would be talking about it because it is so shocking. So all the parishioners would know about it – and anyone who kept going there for 20 years must not have minded America getting cursed very much.

Wright’s rantings is worse that Rev Wright himself and in any case, Obama cites the greedy white men abusing the world in his Audacity of Hope book as inspirational.

Nothing highlights Rev. Wright and Obama’s “winning” Marxist Black theology mindset like Obama railing on about Bain…and Romney doesn’t even have to get his hands in the dirt pile. Our media people will crucify him for the associations while Romney hammers him on his economic failures.

Win win…just like this diary…Rec’d with pleasure.

If Wright’s cursing of America did get answered with a resounding YES, then everyone in America, including everyone in that congregation… would go to hell.

But Wright’s theology? I agree, that was a good topic for 2008 because it said a lot about Obama the candidate. But I don’t think it matters today. What does matter is that he threw Rev Wright under the bus, and exactly how he explained that.

Being President is something you learn on the job. There simply is no other way except on the job training. And that is where what happened with Reverend Wright is so important.

After 20 years of attending church weekly, after the baptism of his children, after his wedding, it wasn’t until the media pointed out that Rev Wright’s theology doesn’t sit well with the majority of the population that Obama “realized” there was an issue.

I don’t have his exact words but I recall it was something to the effect of “I never realized what this meant”. then he disassociated himself from Wright.

    20 years?

Lets see what this really means. It makes Obama not the smartest man in the room, but certainly the least perceptive. Now to put that into perspective this is the same guy that promised if we spent our way into oblivion that unemployment wouldn’t rise above 8%

Oblivious. The way he was able to justify that he didn’t know what Wright was saying, or that he didn’t know the economy was so bad would be critical if I wanted to point out that after four years, the economy isn’t better, unemployment isn’t less than 8% and Obama hasn’t demonstrated that he is present and paying attention. Oh, the lights are on, but everybody is out playing golf.

That is the real message of Wright. That it proves what everyone should know by now. Being President is an on the job training experience, and Obama is to oblivious to learn that way. Not in four years, not in twenty years.

Nothing better can be expected with four more.
