Chick-fil-A values and those of the Muslim and other ‘hoods Democrats abide

Would a 21st Century Alger Hiss even need to conceal his ties to America’s enemies from Johns, McCain and Boehner, to gain security clearances as a State Department employee, so long as he were vouched for by their “honorable friend” and former congressional colleague, Hillary Clinton?

Rahm Emanuel and the Democrats’ Million Man March to mainstream fellow haters of the America they grew up in

America’s number one racist and anti-semite, Louis Farrakhan (whom President Obama always respectfully addresses with the honorific “Minister”), follows the Black Muslim religion that teaches that White people are “devils”. They also oppose same-sex marriage, yet, the Mayor of Chicago (and former Clinton aide), Rahm Emanuel, has announced no conflict between their recruitment by the city to fight crime, or presumably to operate a business, and “Chicago values”. This despite his First Amendment-threat against the issuance of further Chick-fil-A business licenses in the Windy City due to its Christian president’s personal opposition to same-sex marriage:

A Chicago alderman vowed to block a Chick-fil-A proposed in his district, and Mayor Rahm Emanuel supported him, saying, “Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values.”

How can this be, coming from the world’s oldest political party that gave us Jefferson, Jackson and FDR?

But is it really so shocking when one recalls that Democrats over the past 40+ years have:

  • Endorsed the meeting of John Kerry with our North Vietnamese Communist enemy in Paris while U.S. soldiers remained in the war theatre, and later abandoned our Hmong and Vietnamese anti-Communist allies to slaughter in 1975 in favor of the Viet Cong;
  • Abandoned the Shah and the Iranian people to the tender mercies of a “religious” Ayatollah Khomeni that President Jimmy Carter “felt he could deal with”;
  • Supported the Soviet-backed Nicaraguan Communists in the 1980s;
  • Sent a letter (then Sen. Ted Kennedy) to Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev in 1983 supporting the nuclear freeze movement in opposition to their own President Ronald Reagan;
  • Transferred (President Bill Clinton) nuclear missile technology to Communist North Korea and Red China in the late 1990s;
  • Within weeks after September 11, 2001, asked (Former President Bill Clinton): “Why do they hate us?;
  • Mused in Davos, Switzerland in 2003 that: “Iran today is, in a sense, the only country where progressive ideas enjoy a vast constituency. It is there that the ideas that I subscribe to are defended by a majority.” – Bill Clinton
  • Launched the “Bush-lied” era when stockpiles of WMD were not found in Iraq in 2003, thus encouraging our Islamist enemies to fight on and kill more Americans until the Democrats that wanted to surrender replaced President George W. Bush and the republicans in positions of power; and
  • Backed the death cult known as the PLO starting with then U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young in the late 1970s, welcomed Terrorist Yassir Arafat as the most frequent visitor to Bill Clinton’s White House during his late 90s-legacy building era meant to make historians forget impeachment, until today’s Obama-Hillary appeasement of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Add to the above President Barack Hussein Obama’s apology/bowing-to-Muslim-potentate tours abroad and looking the other way while Iran’s ruling Mullahs mowed down freedom fighters in the streets before the “Arab Spring”, and should we really be surprised that our present Democratic Party-controlled federal government treats Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood as honored guests in the Oval Office and yawns when reminded that the Secretary of State’s long-time aide has close, personal family ties to the MB and sisterhood?

Maybe not, but what to make of the attacks by Senator Maverick Hero McCain and the Speaker of the House against five fellow Republican congressmen, including former GOP presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann, who merely asked that Muslim Brotherhood ties within the U.S. government be investigated? After all, this is the same Muslim Brotherhood that spawned Sayyid Qutb, the animating influence of Osama bin Laden and the creation of al Qaeda, and that once named Ayman al-Zawahiri, OBL’s second in command and current head of al Qaeda, as a member.

This writer has long suspected that Senator McCain’s first allegiance is to the U.S. Senate rather than merely the U.S., and, second, to comity with the Washington press corps. Former First Lady Hillary Clinton is both a former member of the Senate Cloakroom Club and First Pal of McCain’s on the Georgetown cocktail party circuit. John Boehner’s turning on his fellow House Republicans might be explained by his desire to prevent more D.C. space being designated as non-smoking?

The Democratic Party has long been the home of anti-American radicals

Jane Fonda was not, and is not, a Republican. Neither are Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn (both of whom were chummy with Bill and Hillary before we discovered they hosted Barack Obama’s political coming out party in Chicago politics). Does Rev. Jeremiah Wright love America? As if!

I suppose its a good thing, relatively speaking, that Muslims and even Islamists oppose same-sex marriage; so what “value”, Chicagoan or otherwise, is it that attracts members of the American Democratic Party to them? Do Bill, Hillary and Barack want more skyscrapers to fall? Do they share other “values” of Farrakhan and the Muslim Brotherhood, e.g. the destruction of the State of Israel, implementation of Sharia law, etc.? Are there enough anti-American votes in Michigan to save it from a native son named Romney?

The beef patriotic Americans should have with the modern day Democratic Party leads even this gamecock to exclaim: Eat mor chikin, marry only the opposite sex and vote for Mitt Romney!

    Let’s face it, Chick-gate has nothing to do with gay marriage, it’s about winning gay votes and conditioning the America people to accept that using the power of government to persecute a person or business is OK. I don’t think it’s working.

    As you are likely aware, there is a hierarchy of hatred within Drat leftist scumdom, at the top of the list for many of them is hatred of White Christians. That is why it is easy for Rahm Emanuel to overlook Farrakhan?s indiscretions regarding homosexuals, they see eye to eye on enemy number one.

  • blooch

    Or is this a case of cagey lawyers not asking a question to which they don’t know the answer? Still. one would expect gonzo journolists to try and box him in with that question.

    Mitt has been speaking truth to pouters quite a bit lately. Pretty good odds he’d end up facing the wrath of McCain, too. Then again, the House of Saud has a big tent in DC., and there’s no telling who all is in there.

  • Freiheit (ZachV)

    I’d very much enjoy hearing how Huma’s dead father started a organization that allegedly had the support of another man named Dr. Umar Abdallah Nasif, who worked for another organization that may or may not have been affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1970s and 90s in Europe.

    … and how exactly that translates in Rep. Bachmann’s mind into a conspiracy being run by the Muslim Brotherhood to infiltrate the U.S. government and influence policy–making via the State Department.

    This is not really Bachmann’s finest moment here.

  • streiff

    having relatives living behind the Iron Curtain prevented you from obtaining a security clearance.

    There is no reason why someone with family members actively involved in what was a terrorist organization until the Arab Spring orgasm of the Obama regime should be allowed access to sensitive information regardless of who she is either married to or sleeping with.

    They still advocate a one Muslim caliphate from Spain to Indonesia. No matter how much folks like Barack Obama and John McCain have become fans because of their love of democracy. The Brotherhood loves democracy in the same way the author of this quote did: “Instead of working to achieve power by an armed coup we shall have to hold our noses and enter the Reichstag.” (by the way this is not a Godwin’s Law confirmation because it is entirely appropriate).

    The US had four friends in the Middle East that could be depended upon: the Saud Family (because we make them rich), the Israelis (because well they need us), the Turks (because Iran and Muslim Brotherhood scare the heck out of them) and Mubarak (because we paid him off). Obama already sacrificed Mubarak so we now have one less.

    Muslim Brotherhoods stock in trade is to forment unrest to rebellion to Democracy and then win the ballot box. A plan that has now worked in Libya and Egypt. Once the elections occur in Syria – they will have in roads to create unrest in Turkey, Iraq, and the Arabian states. Syria will also put them in control on all of Israel’s borders. Once taken over in Iraq and the Arabian states; they will be poised to start the process in the largest prize: Saudi Arabia.

    Democracy is not on the march in the Middle East; Muslim Brotherhood is. Ten, twenty, thirty years from now (and yes, unlike Al Queada – the leaders of MB think past tomorrow) – Barack Obama will be seen as a Neville Chamberlain level appeaser.

  • Melody Warbington (rwm52)

    It’s here.

    And if you’re going to question Rep. Bachmann, you have to throw Franks, Gohmert, Rooney and Westmoreland in as well. They’re asking the same questions, so I guess it’s all just in their collective heads.

  • Freiheit (ZachV)

    My Austrian and Schweben heritage were strong National Socialists. They are older than me and dead (like Huma’s father), but I certainly don’t have to go through the six degrees of separatio that Bachmann’s counting on to attack Huma. I also speak German and have lived in Germany. Doesn’t make me a Nazi sympathizer that is involved in a Nazi infiltration of the US government.

  • streiff

    and discrediting anything you may have worthwhile to say. You weren’t alive during WW II and Nazis today are not infiltrating anything so your analogy fails. You’re making an argument that is simply ridiculous. “Related” is not “six degrees of separation.”

  • streiff

    understanding what he’s talking about. He can’t be seen doing that.

  • Freiheit (ZachV)

    Bachmann, Franks, Gohmert, Rooney and Westmoreland. They are the ones who are leveling the accusations leaving them with the the burden of proof. It’s not Huma’s duty to prove herself NOT guilty. Not to mention that our legal system and democratic values are based upon the presumption of innocence.

    Newt’s statement, “The intensity of the attack on Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) as well as Republican Reps. Trent Franks of Arizona, Louie Gohmert of Texas, Tom Rooney of Florida and Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia is a reminder of how desperate our elites are to avoid this discussion,” is rather a reminder that you have to prove your statements before you make them. Bachmann’s letter [PDF], which is why I only included her name at first, is not significant proof to be leveling claims.

    I’m not going to go as far Bachmann’s former campaign chief, but still, this is all too silly.

  • streiff

    if she were in civil court the preponderance of evidence indicates the allegations are founded and her defense, other than the “big meanie” defense is crickets. As Gingrich says, the intensity of the attacks on these people is a sign that the political elites are closing ranks on this to the detriment of the nation. So you’re in good company.

  • Melody Warbington (rwm52)

    There’s a lot of things that perhaps can’t be proven, and yet they should most certainly be questioned and investigated. Bachmann and the others went through the proper channels and were stonewalled.

    Maybe you missed this comment on an earlier diary which links those channels -here.

  • Freiheit (ZachV)

    Are not we the ones who complain about the lack of security in Washington, and how the Democrats leak state secrets to the press? Including how many White House officials are blabbing and throwing up wild accusations under the guise of anonymous ‘top officials’?

    If this is a matter of state security, you keep it on the down low especially if your accusations can’t be proven. You certainly don’t start naming names, even if you have definitive proof until the matter can be properly handled and solved.

    Dead dad’s former org’s supposed supporter’s employer’s tie that may have happened 20 years ago doesn’t count as proof.

  • Melody Warbington (rwm52)

    Her mother and brother both have ties. If reporters did their jobs, she would have been vetted before being appointed, much like Obama should have been vetted. Further, you have no idea how long Bachmann and others have been asking questions and perhaps kept this quiet. At some point, you bust it open, especially if nobody is cooperating.

    A little more reading about the connections.

    But I digress…

    “Regular visitors to this site know that Huma?s time with the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA) is key to understanding the questions raised by the likes of Bachmann. In particular, Huma served as an Assistant Editor there for years.”

    http://tinyurl.com/cslsh52

    I guess that was just a Michelle Obama/plum-patronage-job-at-the-hospital type of thing, where one never really shows up, just collects a fat paycheck for use of her name.

    And Huma was only an Assistant Editor, so nothing to see here, move along.

    I saw posted in the comments at another center-right blog the proposition that McCain was so torqued at Bachmann becvause she Maxwell-Smarted all over his own Sooper-Secrit Senate Investigation into the Humarocco Mole Affair. That was last week. And it was also posted with a straight face then.

    Given that all of the information presented by Bachmann et al thus far is in the public record, although it is now being clumsily scrubbed by Islamists and their fellow travellers, the actual state secrets must be really damning to Huma’s case. Or the whole shameful thing is right in our faces and they were counting on comity which Bachmann had the bad manners to disrupt.

  • blooch

    but I spent four hours on the 4th of July discussing Islamism with an 18-year-old German kid, and I now know, among other things, that:

    1) Jews are, once again, causing all the problems

    2) Syria is a majority Christian country

    3) Jehovah’s Witnesses are just as bad as Muslims

    4)Islam has only been around for 700 years so it needs time to mature

    I’m all sarc’d out now…and my neck is sore from slowly shaking my head.

  • blujay83

    is that the silent majority have come to rally around Chick-Fil-A.

    I proudly bought some for lunch today in NJ and it was packed.

    Before you get too excited, my area voted heavily for McCain in 2008. So we are a deeply Red area in a otherwise Blue State.

    It’s all about how he “feels.” And I have no idea how much I outspent him yesterday, but no doubt my purchases more than made up for his free water, ice, cup and straw. I imagine that young lady got her share of thank you’s during the day that overshadowed his little rant, too.

    The next time someone on the left dares to lecture the country about “dedication to the working class”, I will show the colossal moron THIS VIDEO…in which some magnanimous prick belittles an $8/hr drive-through worker doing a thankless job to make himself feel important.
