First Black President to be fired threw MLK under the bus before his inauguration

Since our Summer of 2001 conversion to the GOP, after nearly 20 years a Democratic Party activist and official, we laid claim to Martin Luther King’s character content dream as belonging to our fellow conservatives. What else could one conclude when, more than 35 years after passage of civil and voting rights acts banning discrimination based on the color of one’s skin, the party with the Jim Crow past continued to favor race-based laws, albeit this time in favor of darker hues.

Little did we know that less than a year later, America’s future first Black president was busy organizing his Chicago community to ridicule MLK’s calls for non-violence as well:

The philosophy of nonviolence only makes sense if the powerful can be made to recognize themselves in the powerless. It only makes sense if the powerless can be made to recognize themselves in the powerful. You know, the principle of empathy gives broader meaning, by the way, to Dr. King’s philosophy of nonviolence. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but rich people are all for nonviolence. Why wouldn’t they be? They’ve got what they want. They want to make sure people don’t take their stuff. But the principle of empathy recognizes that there are more subtle forms of violence to which we are answerable. The spirit of empathy condemns not only the use of firehoses and attack dogs to keep people down but also accountants and tax loopholes to keep people down. I’m not saying that what Enron executives did to their employees is the moral equivalent of what Bull Connor did to black folks, but I’ll tell you what, the employees at Enron feel violated. When a company town sees its plant closing because some distant executives made some decision despite the wage concessions, despite the tax breaks, and they see their entire economy collapsing, they feel violence . . .

Not sure if autobiographical and Rezko real estate excess had yet rendered the “present” voting (except when insisting that failed abortionists not be required to save the life they were hired to snuff out)-Illinois State Senator, a rich person keeping people down with accountants and tax loopholes, but he sure was two years later when he eschewed red states and blue states in favor of the United States at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, curiously while still parking his butt on Sundays during Year 16 in the pews of Jeremiah Wright.

Was Barack Obama against non-violence before he became rich? Has the principle of empathy inspired him to pay more in taxes than the law requires? And why hasn’t President Obama followed his predecessor’s example of actually prosecuting Enron’s officers for their crimes by going after Solyndra for their “violent” plant closures and the Big Banks he bailed out via TARP? Opps, forgot that Obama now describes giving trillions in tax payer dollars to certain rich people as saving America from “the abyss”.

It was great day for America when Frank Robinson became the first Black manager of a Major League Baseball team. It was an even greater day when, several years later, he was fired for the same reason white managers get fired: losses, i.e. low character content. It was also a great day when the world and CNN saw the greatest nation on earth hand over control of the nukes to an ethnic minority, if only to refute the narrative of the United (Dictator Club) Nations, CNN and the Democratic Party of the United States as racist. Yet, less than a year before Hillary Clinton would fail to organize caucus states, and the future First Lady wife would finally be proud of her country when Iowans caucused for her husband, the future First Citizen of the World attacked the first president to appoint Blacks as the face of America via our State Department in a speech to a predominantly black audience at Hampton University on June 5, 2007:

That date is important, as we shall see:

In his speech — delivered in a ghetto-style accent that Obama doesn’t use anywhere except when he is addressing a black audience — he charged the federal government with not showing the same concern for the people of New Orleans after hurricane Katrina hit as they had shown for the people of New York after the 9/11 attacks, or the people of Florida after hurricane Andrew hit.

Departing from his prepared remarks, he mentioned the Stafford Act, which requires communities receiving federal disaster relief to contribute 10% as much as the federal government does.

Sen. Obama, as he was then, pointed out that this requirement was waived in the case of New York and Florida because the people there were considered to be “part of the American family.” But the people in New Orleans — predominantly black — “they don’t care about as much,” according to him.

Why is the date of this speech important?

Because, less than two weeks earlier, on May 24, 2007, the U.S. Senate had in fact voted 80-14 to waive the Stafford Act requirement for New Orleans, as it had waived that requirement for New York and Florida. More federal money was spent rebuilding New Orleans than was spent in New York after 9/11 and in Florida after Hurricane Andrew, combined.

Telling the truth is not a job requirement for a community organizer. Nor can Barack Obama claim that he wasn’t present the day of that Senate vote, as he claimed he wasn’t there when Jeremiah Wright unleashed his obscene attacks on America from the pulpit of the church that Obama attended for 20 years.

Unlike Wright’s church, the U.S. Senate keeps a record of who was there on a given day. The Congressional Record for May 24, 2007, shows Sen. Barack Obama present that day and voting on the bill that waived the Stafford Act requirement. Moreover, he was one of just 14 Senators who voted against — repeat, AGAINST — the legislation which included the waiver. - Thomas Sowell

Yep, looks like by 2007, then-Senator Obama had become so rich that he wanted the State of Louisiana to match his federal taxes before Katrina victims received government aid. Guess he missed all that character content of the White Southern Baptists that rescued Black folks soon after the levee broke.

White folks that never owned a slave nor voted for Jim Crow and that have endured reverse racism out of a sense of White Guilt are tired of being called racists, much as MLK got tired of the struggle to be judged on the merits with other men rather than the color of his skin:

Let me say that if you are tired of demonstrations, I am tired of demonstrating. I am tired of the threat of death. I want to live. I don’t want to be a martyr. And there are moments when I doubt if I am going to make it through. I am tired of getting hit, tired of being beaten, tired of going to jail. But the important thing is not how tired I am; the important thing is to get rid of the conditions that lead us to march.

After five years of a Great Recession and a “recovery” unworthy of the name, Americans are tired of governance under the thumb of Barack Hussein Obama. They got tired of him and his fellow Democrats rather quickly, thanks to their re-education in the failures of liberalism after super majorities of his party enacted their stimulus and Obamacare wish list or imposed their liberal dreams via executive fiat. The polls missed the tea partier landslide of 2010.

The media would have you believe that one debate, rather than four years of failure, is responsible for the dramatic turnaround of the polls in October 2012. Poppycock! Polite White folks who know they aren’t, and haven’t been, racist are now more fearful of Obama’s continued rule than they are of being called racist.

White guilt is dead. Character content accountability is at hand, in landslide proportions.
