Was it before tea partier Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy’s senate seat or after Month 30 of 8%+ unemployment?

Last night was a mere death rattle of the re-election campaign of President Barack Hussein Obama. Mitt Romney’s “greatness” in the debates is the natural result of the hanging curve balls that are the Obama record, a record that can’t be changed by facial expressions and “energy” in any debate, and the former Bain Capital CEO’s ability to see and hit hanging curve balls.  We were confident months ago that the Republican Party would nominate such a candidate. In fact, I doubt John McCain could lose to this failed record-saddled Obama.

Yes, in the first debate (and yesterday) America writ large got to see that Mitt Romney is not Frankenstein’s monster, shares their recent memory of massive economic suffering across the Fruited Plain, and wants to chart another course.

Hillary may have accepted responsibility for the Libyan fiasco in all its aspects, but who appointed Mrs. Clinton as their Secretary of State and hasn’t asked for her resignation? The same guy that asked to inherit the Bush economy, outlined a plan to fix it, got the plan enacted by fellow Democrats and watched its epic fail.

President Obama could claim that the refusal of his super-majority Democratic Party Congress to pass cap-and-trade legislation to make energy prices even higher are the reason the economy hasn’t rebounded, but does he really want to go there? He actually seemed to last night with his repeated appeals for green energy and the nirvana that will result in 10-20 years if we would just grin and bear booming recovery-caused $4/gallon gasoline.

After all, the private sector is doing fine. The problem is that not enough Americans are on food stamps or working for an even larger and more intrusive government. The danger is that Mitt Romney and Republicans might stop taxpayers from paying for 30-year old Georgetown law students’ birth control pills or allow Catholic and Baptist hospitals to refuse to administer morning after birth control pills.

And al Qaeda? No worries. Every time our lax security, meant not to offend Islamists, results in dead Americans, Sheriff Obama will track down the “extremists” with drones, dead not alive, even if he originally blames videos that blaspheme the Prophet of Islam for two weeks and conducts unannounced “voluntary” questioning of the film producer in the wee hours of Hollywood mornings.

Finally, if the Congress elected by We the People won’t go along with the President’s second term agenda of increasing taxes paid by the “rich”, a second chance for Solyndras, and an assault weapons ban; the divine right of re-election will empower Obama to deem all (not just some as in the first term) laws he favors as passed via executive order.

Think he’ll issue an executive order consistent with his J.R. Ewing impersonation last night and let non-Bank CEO Americans loose to bail themselves out via Drill, Drill, Drill? Me neither.

The record of Obama is. Natural Law obtains and has for the last four years. Hence, the lack of a need for Gallups and Rassmussens to tell us what for. Carter lost because of his failed policies and resulting economic suffering. So he always was even before Reagan uttered “There he goes again.” Obama can’t clean up the pig that is the economy he, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi tossed in the mud, and especially not with dirt thrown at the man that balanced four Bay State budgets, and saved failing companies and jobs via Bain Capital and the Olympics.
