He suspended his campaign because his daughter is in the hospital.  It wasn’t to give Romney anything, it wasn’t cause Newt did anything.  Most of all Rick didn’t think the situation was hopeless.  The reason Rick Santorum suspended his campaign was he couldn’t stay on the campaign trail while his daughter is in the hospital.

The man deserves respect, sympathy, and prayers.  Not being trashed, demeaned, his motives questioned etc.

I honestly think Santorum would have won his home state.  I’m not a Santorum supporter, however I feel extremely sad that his Daughter is in the hospital and pray she recovers.
