On Thursday, Harry Reid held his first campaign rally in Las Vegas at the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy. Among the 700 or so supporters, who made an all-star appearance? None other than Der Slickmeister himself, former President Bill Clinton.

According to the LVRJ, the crowd needed a little motivation during the event…

The crowd waved “Harry Reid for Senate signs” on cue for the cameras after organizers urged them to show a little spirit before Clinton took the stage, which was decorated with more Reid signs. “We Are Family,” a song from the late 1970s, played.

Unfortunately for the drones, Harry was a no-show. I guess the Dems don’t mind coming to a rally where their candidate can’t find the time to attend… Nonetheless, Slick Willy took the stage and spouted this little tid-bit…

“Why would you give away the Senate majority leader who has delivered time and time and time again for the people of Nevada?”

“It’s not his fault,” Clinton said of Reid, explaining that the stimulus bill attacked by GOP critics is meant to get the country out of an economic hole. “Harry Reid is doing what he can to get us back on our feet.”

Do I need to start counting the reasons? Fortunately, fate took over and the power went out, leaving Clinton talking under emergency lighting with a dead microphone! God how I love Karma!

I’m guessing that Dingy was a little premature in his latest ad touting the jobs he created at the El Dorado Energy Solar Expansion Project in Eldorado Valley. Solar panels made in the USA China, of course!

The National Republican Senatorial Committee was quick to point out that

“At a time when Nevada’s unemployment is at a record 13.7 percent and the stimulus has not only failed to create the jobs Harry Reid promised, but it helped drive the federal debt over $13 trillion, the arrogance of this ad is remarkable,”

“Republicans agree with Harry Reid on one thing though, and that’s his new campaign slogan — ‘No One Can Do More’ — because no one in Washington has done more to grow the size of the federal government, done more to skyrocket our national debt or done more to increase the tax burden on Nevada families than Harry Reid.”

Harry Reid is a dead man walking… He just doesn’t have the mental capacity to figure it out. You days are numbered Senator Reid. Just remember what the end result was for the last Democrat Senate Majority Leader… DOOM aka Thune!

Today, our illustrious Senate had a vote on a piece of legislation (S.J. Res. 26) that would stop the EPA in their tracks, and deny them the ability to enforce the Presidents Global-Warming agenda. The vote was 53-47 against the bill! That’s right, 53 Democrats voted in-favor of “if we can’t pass it in Congress, we’ll just let the EPA make the law!”

President Obama chimed in…

“Today the Senate chose to move America forward, towards that clean energy economy – not backward to the same failed policies that have left our nation increasingly dependent on foreign oil.”

I’m not quite sure what part of the Constitution the President does not understand (perhaps the entire document), but this is most certainly NOT the way we do things in this Country! Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky stated that this is a…

Last night was a wonderful victory for Sharron Angle who trounced the competition in Nevada’s primary. Things are looking a little brighter today now that we have one candidate to go head-to-head against Harry Reid.

Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle celebrated a spectacular victory Tuesday, one fueled by conservative groups hellbent on defeating Democratic incumbent Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader.

Sharron is making no bones about Harry’s fate…

“We need to say to Harry Reid, you have failed and you are fired,” Angle said, arguing he and the Democrats need to cut back on out- of-control spending and she’s ready to go head-to-head with the incumbent. “We’re ready for the debate: Come on, Harry, let’s talk about the issues.”

Dingy’s response…

“This election presents voters with a clear choice on who will stand up for Nevada’s families,” Reid said, adding, “I am working to create good-paying jobs in our state by investing in Nevada’s clean energy resources. I have been leading the fight to protect consumers by taking on Big Oil and Wall Street. And I am proud of the reform we passed to help make health care more affordable for all Nevadans.”

That’s right Harry, keep touting all the usual Democrat talking points on how you will “fight to protect” us from all the big, bad, evil things that we face.

 As one who voted for Sharron last night, I’m proud to know that we have a true Conservative running against Dingy but she is going to need our help. I don’t think our country can handle another 6 years with this disaster holding court in the Senate.

Pointing their rifles, Mexican security forces chased away U.S. authorities investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old Mexican by a U.S. Border Patrol agent on the banks of the Rio Grande, the FBI and witnesses told The Associated Press on Wednesday

 The Border Patrol and the FBI were conducting an investigation of the shooting of a Mexican who had crossed the border in the river bed and was throwing rocks at the Border Patrol agents. In self defence, one of the agents shot the boy. When the Mexican Federales showed up, the situation got tense. They have accused the US agents of crossing into Mexico and killing the young man, when in fact…

A U.S. official close to the investigation told the AP that authorities have a video showing that the Border Patrol agent did not cross into Mexico. In fact, the official said, the video shows what appear to be members of Mexican law enforcement crossing onto the U.S. side, picking something up and returning to Mexico.

What did they retrieve from US soil…. the .40 cal shell casing from the fired round!

The Mexican authorities had the audacity to violate our border, destroy a crime scene, steal evidence, agressively force our agents to retreat, and then declare that we were at fault! If we had built a border fence already, this situation might never have happened. Will our State Department demand an apology from Mexico? Somehow I doubt it, especially when we welcome their President with open arms and allow him to rip our Nation a new one in our Congress…

Where we actually have a fence, these things don’t happen! Secure our border – NOW!

At the tender age of sixteen, I had the great privilege to move to the United States from Canada in 1985. My father was allowed to move his film production company from Vancouver, BC to Los Angeles. I was still young enough to not fully realize that I had been born and raised in a Socialist country, but it didn’t take long before my eyes began to open.
