Every year, like minded conservative activists gather to support small government conservatives and meet face to face at the RedState Gathering.  We’re proud to say that we’ll be celebrating the fifth year of the RedState Gathering August 2-3 in New Orleans.  Click here for more information or to register.

The Gathering is like a RedState family reunion and every year new members of the family come. We all meet new people and make new friends and connections.  The Gathering is especially unique in that all speakers pay their own way and make their own travel arrangements.  This keeps the cost low to attendees and guarantees that those participating want to be there.  All speakers and panel participants are also expected to take questions from attendees.

Aside from hotel and flight, Gathering attendees bear few out of pocket costs.  Attendees include everyone from RedState contributors to college campus leaders and grassroots activists to local politicians.  The audience at the Gathering arguably represents one of the most highly engaged, unique groups within the conservative movement.

The RedState Gathering consistently draws an all-star lineup of conservative leaders.   Marco Rubio spoke at the very first Gathering in Atlanta in 2009 and, in 2011, Governor Rick Perry announced his presidential candidacy at the Gathering podium.
