Obama said last night that he plans to pay for Medicare by cutting billions of dollars of waste and fraud out of medicare. If there are billions of dollars of waste and fraud to be found in Medicare, isn’t that precisely the problem with a public option?

Today, Robert Gibbs noted that “If I had some DNA, it wouldn’t assuage those who believe [Obama] wasn’t born here.” Of course, while studying DNA can tell us many things about an individual, and surely as research continues will tell us more, one thing DNA will never be able to tell us is WHERE somebody was born.
Some statements are so stupid that you have to wonder whether or not they are intentional.
