A modest suggestion for Mitt Romney’s campaign ads

Mitt is NOT my preferred candidate, but if he is the nominee, he needs to do a much better job of telling the American people why they should vote for him.

Telling people that you’re a businessman, a job creator, doesn’t get the point across, even though that is the one key distinction between Mitt and Santorum, Newt, and yes, obviously so, Obama.

So why not find a few career employees at STAPLES, people who’ve bought homes, raised, families, put their kids through college..IOW..the middle class American dream….and all possible because Mitt and others created STAPLES.

Surely among the tens of thousands at STAPLES there are a few who support Mitt. Let them tell their story, and edit it into the requisite 30-60 second commercials.

It will resonate.

I like this idea from Althouse:

She puts it in the form of an online poll but it could be easily turned into a campaign commercial.

Bain Capital wasn’t exactly a majority share holder.

While they did have an investiment in STAPLES a lot of other investors had more invested in STAPLES than Bain Capital, and therefore they had the say as to what STAPLES was doing to set up, not Bain.
