It suddenly struck me that I have seen absolutely nothing in the media about a funeral service for Ambassador Stevens. Not even an announcement. Has one occurred. We all witnessed the four caskets returning home, accompanied by speeches from Obama and Clinton ( yet again attempting to lay blame for their deaths on the YouTube video.) Since then, absolute silence.

I would have expected that a US ambassador, slain overseas, while at his post, would have lain in state in the State Dept, for at least one day, prior to returning home for burial. He is a symbol, both of the President of the US, and of this country, and deserves the honor and respect of a grateful nation. Wreaths would be placed by the President, and the Secretary of State,a s well as by most members of the diplomatic corp.

This is wrong, it makes no sense, and something is rotten here.
