The things I get in my e-mail.

Sent to me from my sis, Diane.

Some of may have seen this already, so this is for those who havn’t.

I checked on snopes, and it said to be an actual letter written by the Law Student, John J Wall

The letter:

___________________________________________________________

DIVORCE AGREEMENT THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT AND I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT’S BY A YOUNG PERSON, A STUDENT! WHATEVER HE RUNS FOR, I’LL VOTE FOR HIM.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950′s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of the 2008 election process has made me realize that I want a divorce.

I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don’t like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.

We’ll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

We’ll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.

You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps users, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens.

We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO’s and rednecks.

We’ll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. –You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security. We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McLaine.

You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We’ll keep the SUV’s, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We’ll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

We’ll keep “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “The National Anthem.”I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute “Imagine”, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”, “Kum Ba Ya” or “We Are the World”.

We’ll practice trickle down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.

Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete.

In the spirit of friendly parting, I’ll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

Sincerely, John J. Wall Law Student and an American

P.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barbara Streisand, Jane Fonda, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid with you.

P.S.S. And you won’t have to press 1 for English when you call our country.

________________________________________________________

Got to love this guy.

To all Red Staters, lets post our favorite patriotic themed video to celebrate this most holy of American days.

Do a search on YouTube, or your favorite website, (YouTube is easiest for me) for your favorite patriotic singer, song, speach, or video. I’ll go ahead and start with my own, as a comment, (I don’t know how to put one in a diary) and feel free to add whatever you want.

The rules are simple, patriotic themed song, speach, (I suspect some Reagan), or video. This is for us here at Red State, so lets have fun and show our patiotism.

Have a happy and safe 4th of July, and remember to watch out for the kids and keep them safe.

For those unfamiliar with YouTube embed, when you find what you want, click on “share”.

Then click on “embed”.

Then click on “use old embed code”, and make sure that is the only box selected in that column.

Make sure the small box underneath is highlighted, the 425×349, as it fits perfect. Copy the code in the box, and make sure it is all highlited, (it will start with “object width”, copy it, then paste it in the comment box.

If your song has already been posted, just post ditto or something as a reply. The same song by a different singer is ok with me, as everyone has thier own preferences, but the same song by the same singer would be lame.

Again, lets have a happy and safe 4th of July.

God Bless America.

Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

With the elections coming up, people keep telling me how we can get the conservatives we want elected, and It usually comes down to “my way is better than yours. There are a lot of good ideas out there, but too many people think their ideas are the only good ones. By no way is this a guide for what to do, but rather to look at and consider other’s ideas on how to go about getting the people we want elected. In some states, you have to do certain things to win elections that might not work in other states. Same problem, different approaches.

First, the reason why I wrote this in the first place.

When I worked for TRW, I came across kind of the same problem while working on the SCB (Stability Control Braking) system.

The project was stalled because no one could agree on exactly which course of action to take or what to do to further the project along.

Conflicting ideas. This happens when everyone is the smartest in the room.

This story came to mind, which I wrote, and presented this to the other engineers.

After reading this, and with some wrangling about it, the project proceeded, only because the other engineers had finally considered the other ideas from the group, agreed to combine some of the ideas, and the braking system finally got developed and will be put into cars starting in 2011.

It showed that although all ideas are not good, but all are not bad either.

Four men who were students were asked by their Taskmaster to do a chore for him.

The Taskmaster drew a large square on the ground in front of each of the men, and told them each to build a “stick” in their square.

The first man thought for a minute, as you would imagine, and then drew a stick in his square.

The second man went about getting different pieces of sticks and proceeded to literally “build” a stick, and when completed, placed it in his square.

The third man went and found a stick that had fallen from a tree, and then placed it in his square.

The forth man went and got the seed of a strong and tall Oak tree, planted it in his square,

In anticipation, all four men looked at their Taskmaster with eyes inquiring as to who had done the better.

In seeing the expressions on their faces, he shook his head, and slowly explained to them that all had done equally well.

The first, he said, had done the task as he perceived it. He had looked in his mind and found a stick.

The third man had found the simplest solution to the problem, found a stick, and presented it as built.

The fourth man, having a knowledge of where sticks come from, took a practical solution to the problem and was going to grow a stick.

My Daughter Jennipher informed me of this today, and I thought you should know.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn’t always fair; and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more
than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in
charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended
from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for
reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly
children. It declined even further when schools were required to get
parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student;
but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted
to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses;
and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense
took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your
own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot… She spilled a little in
her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was
preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife,
Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers:
I Know My Rights, I Want It Now, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I’m A
Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If
you still remember him, say a prayer. If not, join the majority and do
nothing.

This does seem timely.
Thanks to my friend Mike:

Just a comment on how things appear. Not a political statement!

Dear President Obama:

I’m planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.
We’re planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. Into Mexico, and we’ll need your help to make a few arrangements.
We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.
I’m sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I’m on my way over?

Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.

4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver’s license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but, I don’t plan to purchase car insurance,
and I probably won’t make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to
leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. Flag from my house top, put U S. Flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never
say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I’ll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I’ll need Income tax credits so although I don’t pay Mexican Taxes,
I’ll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov’t pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I’ll get
a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U..S. From Mexico. I am sure that President Calderon won’t mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. Thank you so much for your kind help. You’re the man!!!
Have a nice day

I was going to post this on an open thread, but thought it should stand alone.

I like to inform voters (And ya’all at RS), of information regarding candidates that are “In The Game”. (take that any way you want).
I’ve posted quite a few “just for info” and want to let you know why.
I send “just for info” to all I think who want to be informed.
I believe those who peruse RS would want to be informed, and post them here.
And with giving you said info, all I ask is that you make up your own mind.

I will not publicly endorse or support candidates for the simple fact that some might vote for those who I say so, or vote against those because of who I say so.

Your choice should not be influenced by mine.

Don’t take my word for what I say, as you shouldn’t with any one,
Don’t take politicians at thier word, but what they do.

Project Vote Smart informs you to just that.
I have found that this website is almost as accurate as Rush, (99.5%).

I promote Project Vote Smart for it’s simple facts, of the facts.

Home web site here:

http://www.votesmart.org/index.htm

On the Home Page, at the left is all you need.
type in the last name of your Senator, or Representative, and you can get most of all of thier politicaly professional history.
You can go to voting record and see where these politicians actually stand on issues.

Issue Positions
(political courage test),
Can tell you a lot of someone.

Please explore.
This site is totally informative.

Disclaimer: I have no afiliation with Vote Smart Project.
I just think it’s good enough to tell you about it.

These are not my words, and the Auther is from Australia.

And I know not of the date.

It seems People from other countries can see America more clearly than we ourselves can.

You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

‘An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian , or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims i n America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.
When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!
As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan .
The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, temp est tossed. These in fact are the people who built America
Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11 , 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin , and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

[Gekster, future diaries calling out users may result in your banning. Don't do it again. – NS]

I am on RedState because I find honest debate on this site. People are allowed, as per conservatism, to express thier opinions here, and get honest, rhetorical response.
Inspite of this, I have a rant

I recently commented on an article by
toni100,
Time is Running Out for Marine Widow Hota Ferschke – Your Help Is Needed.

It is the plight of a child and mother of a solder who was killed in action.
The post was mainly about how this solders wife by proxy was having a hard time with the status of her and her childs imigration.
I commented how illeagle immigrants get everything, and this particular widow was having a hard time getting benifits from our Government.
After re-reading, as I often do, I found out that this child was born on a US military base.
I made the comment that this baby, like John McCain, was also born on a militatry base, and could possibly be President of the USA.
In jest, wich no one took as jest, was that if Obama was Kenyan, as stated by some, then this child also could be president.

Then it started:
——, made this reply:
—— Wednesday, October 14th at 6:01AM EDT
It’s rude, crude, and utterly self-centered to your belief that Obama is not a U.S. citizen which should have had nothing at all to do with this diary.
He made this comment and I was accussed of threadjacking.
I was not talking about discrediting Obama, as much as I was trying to say that maybe this particular child, as any born with US citizenship, could be President.

My reply to his comment was natural, as if someone was jumping on me.

My reply:
Aside from offending you, prove hes not a Kenyen.
Show me the birth certificate

That opened the slam.
We are ready to pounce on those we deem week.
Some people are just ready to slam anyone they can. They’re just looking for something, anything, I guesse.

It was then posted by——-:
Another birther needs the boot…nt.

I had now became a birther.
I don’t know how. I made a off-hand remark about Obama and now became a “birther”.
I didn’t know this, but I was at that moment also linked to the 9/11ers.

I asked of ——-:

I’m curious as to why you think that I should be booted
gekster Wednesday, October 14th at 12:48PM EDT
I don’t consider myself a “birther”.Just someone who wants to know the truth.
I’m not advocating Obama be removed from office for not showing a valid birth cirtificate.
I just want to know the truth.
It seems you don’t agree with me. Why give me the boot.
Because you don’t agree with the valid cirtificate thing.
At the recent RS gathering, when a speaker suggested that in the state of Georgia a law be passed that if someone runs for President in the state of Georgia that they have to produce a valid US birth cirtificate.
It got a rousing round of applause from the group.
Are they all birthers too, or just people who want the laws of this country upheld,
up to and including the Federal laws.
Eric applauded. Is he a birther also..
you want to boot him too?

No reply from –, but some other idiot just had to jump in:

Gekstercraft is a birther??
——– Wednesday, October 14th at 12:51PM EDT (link)
who knew?

Blam

I got the blam from him. Some friend.
And the name is gekster.

From ——, he’s here implying that I’m an idiot”.

Scoot your chair closer, little one.

—— Wednesday, October 14th at 1:09PM EDT (link)
Barack Obama is the President of these United States. He was duly elected by the Electoral College of the States.

There is no requirement that anyone have a birth certificate, even to seek the Presidency. There is a contemporaneous account of his birth found in a local newspaper. His family says he was born here. The President of the United States said, as a U. S. Senator, under penalty of perjury (which would put him in jail), that he was born here. The State of Hawaii says he was born here. Any one of those things would be good enough for me. All of them put together make for an impenetrable case.

See you on some other site.

He thinks I am gone at this point and have been banned.

to molify him, I said
I’ll accept your explanation, I can learn
gekster Wednesday, October 14th at 1:21PM EDT (link)
I’m not going to push it to the point of insanity.
I see that its a touchy subject to some here.
I’ll drop it now

Yeh. Some get realy angry if you say something they don’t like.
I don’t see why, except this is a lighting rod point to get some people peeved for no reason.

Then I got this:

It’s not about what you believe.
——– Wednesday, October 14th at 1:35PM EDT (link)

I’ve tried my best to give you ‘birthers’ some leeway but you hijacked a diary that had absolutely nothing to do with Obama to plug your silly conspiracy theory and that is what is rude, crude, self-centered.

So now what I believe doesm’t mater to someone who doesn’t know what “I” believe.
I didn’t know I was plugging a conspiricy theory.
I made one hap-ass remark,and now i’m getting this.
I did learn about the thread jack thing though.
the next comment was from –.
Well…
– Wednesday, October 14th at 2:05PM EDT (link)
A) Don’t threadjack
B) Birthers need not comment here. I’m sure there’s a conspiracy theory site out there somewhere that will meet your needs.

My final words on this thread

gekster Wednesday, October 14th at 2:56PM EDT (link)
I now know what contemporaneous means.
Yes, I had to look it up.And although I thought I knew before, I now also know what a “thread jack” is.
I will not knowingly do it again.
Thanks for your patience and instruction.

I was just going to leave this alone and hoped it went away, but then I today while I was perusing RS,
I read from 10/9 where someone was actually promoting the “birther movement”.
I did not see a comment from:
——,
——-,
——or ——r,
to this other person.
No one calling for a Blam.
I make one half-ass remark and some of you are ready to throw me to the wolves,
or at least to the lefties.

I’ve been on this site for 1 year now.
I have gone astray some times, but have seen my errors and try to stick to the debate.
I have banned myself from this site because of conduct unbecoming of a gekster.
I am human, I make mistakes like most humans and as such can learn.
Instead of making a teaching moment as to which we can learn, you all were ready to throw me out.
Do you hold yourself to the same judgement?
The misinterpretation of what I ment from some on this site jumped as bad as Rush and the Rams.

You’ll have to throw me to the wolves, I’m not going because you don’t like the debate.
And ——- I sat next to you at the RSG.
I am anything but “little”.

I see I have gone astray again. I will not do it again. I am still in the learning process.
Teach me in the ways of RS. I am willing to learn.

This is a story that was sent to me, and I don’t know who the author is, or if it is even true.
That doesn’t matter here.
Some of you might have seen this before.
It is the simplest explanation to me yet how Socialism has and is being imposed on us every day,
How it is creeping on us, and how we get blinded, yes, blinded into accepting it into our daily lives.

Catching Wild Pigs

A chemistry professor in a large college had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, ‘Do you know how to catch wild pigs?’

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. ‘You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat a gain. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America . The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc..
While we continually lose our freedoms — just a little at a time.
author opinion:
One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free lunch! Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

Also, I hope you see that all of this wonderful government ‘help’ is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America . God help you when the gate slams shut!

Keep your eyes on the newly elected politicians who are about to slam the gate on America .

“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have”

Thomas Jefferson
I hope you enjoyed this and understand what it is I’m trying to convey.
Liberals are trying to build the fence,
Conservatives are trying to tear it down.
You are on one side or the other, and there should be no stradling here.
If you are a moderate, no matter which party, then you are a stradler.
You put your finger out to the wind to see which way you are going today.
At least have enough guts to pick a side.
McCain was a straddler. That’s one reason he lost.
What make Sarah Palin so popular is she is on the tear down this fence side.
Didn’t someone else say tear down this fence?
Oh ya. Some 80’s guy, Uncle Ronnie.

My son, Donald Paul, sent this to me and asked for exsposure for it.I don’t know who started this, but it is a good idea, and I will be blue on Fridays, from now on;

Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing blue every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the ‘silent majority’. We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing.

Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday — and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something blue. By word of mouth, press, TV — let’s make the United States on every Friday a sea of blue much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in BLUE and it will let our troops know the once ‘silent’ majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on. The first thing a soldier says when asked ‘What can we do to make things better for you?’ is: ‘We need your support and your prayers.’ Let’s get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something blue every Friday

My son served in Iraq from March, to August in 2003 with the Third Infantry Division from Fort Hood, TX
I couldn’t say no.

It’s just disgusting what I have just heard. Planned Parenthood in Indiana is giving out Christmas gift certificates for abortions.
This is disgusting.
At the time of year when we celebrate rebirth and life, these animals are promoting death. There are already going to be 6,000 babies in Indiana this year that will not celebrate the Christmas season this year because some misinformed mothers got abortions. Now Planned Parenthood is trying to get that number to grow for next year.
Being touted as an unusual but “practical” gift, these mass murderers are offering gift certificates in $25.00 increments for birth control, examinations, and abortion.
To quote PPIN President and CEO Betty Cockrum:
“Nearly 800,000 Hoosiers don’t have health insurance and can’t afford basic health services. Why not buy a loved one a gift this holiday season that they really need and one that will contribute to their health throughout the year?”
Yea, well what about the health of the baby? Don’t you care about the little ones health? Don’t the unborn babies get a chance to be healthy?
And if you get an abortion at Christmas time, what will you be feeling next year, when Christmas time comes around and you start to think about the “gifts” you don’t have to get, because of the one “special” gift that was given to you? I don’t think you can say it any other way, abortion IS murder.
Just plain Murder!!
