Romney Pandering to Liberal/Moderate Republican Supporters

Romney and his blind followers woke up this morning with Florida under their belts. Good for them. Bad for true Conservatives that have actually paid attention in recent history. Romney and the Liberal Republicans that he attracts are bad for the Conservative movement. The numbers don’t lie.

Exit polls asked voters many questions (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2012/florida-primary-jan-31/exit-polls) Of them, these two following questions produced very interesting results.

On most political matters, do you consider yourself:
Conservative?
Total: 69% /Paul 6%/Gingrich 37%/Romney 41%/Santorum 16%/
Moderate/Liberal?
Total: 31% /Paul 11%/Gingrich 20%/Romney 59%/Santorum 7%/

How do you feel about the Tea Party movement:
Strongly support?
Total 35% /Paul 5%/Gingrich 45%/Romney 33%/Santorum 17%/
Somewhat support?
Total 30% /Paul 8%/Gingrich 28%/Romney 50%/Santorum 13%/
Neutral?
Total 23% /Paul 8%/Gingrich 22%/Romney 57%/Santorum 10%/
Somewhat oppose?
Total 5% /Paul 7%/Gingrich 17%/Romney 62%/Santorum 11%/
Strongly oppose?
Total 4% /Paul -/Gingrich -/Romney -/Santorum -/

If these numbers don’t scream moderate/liberal Republican, then I don’t know what will. If it doesn’t to you after a second take, consider yourself a lost cause. He nor his constituents can explain his liberal ideology. I’m still thinking that I’ll write in Bruins goalie Tim Thomas. I think people need to take a serious second-look at this candidate. He is not who he portrays himself to be, he tries to be everything to everyone. As my friend told me this morning, any politician that panders to voters is the worst kind of politician. Romney is that kind of politician. He’ll say and do anything to get elected. If he’s elected, I predict, he’ll make G.W. Bush look good. That friend also brought to my attention what Mark Levin said yesterday. He said that the republican that Romney reminds him the most of is Nixon. He ran for president as a conservative, but governed as a liberal.

The exit poll numbers were confusing, and if you are truly a conservative, they should confuse you as well. 62% of those that somewhat oppose the Tea Party are Romney supporters. 57% of those that are neutral about the tea party are Romney supporters. He does claim to be a conservative, but it’s all out there in the open that he obviously is not one. Prime example, ROMNEYCARE. My question is, who are these people that are voting for Romney??? Of those that consider themselves liberals/moderates on political matters, 59% hold Romney close to their hearts. Even scarier is that 41% who consider themselves “conservatives” voted for Romney. Sounds to me like these people have bought the lie that he is the only one that can beat Obama. We have been lying to ourselves. You guys can yell and scream comments all day long, but it doesn’t make it true.

And, let me tell you liberal/moderate Romney supporters one other thing, Obama is at the White House or the golf course or Hawaii or Camp David or playing basketball, laughing at all of you, calling you the useful idiots that you are. Sounds to me like there are too many RINO’s in Florida. Maybe it’s all the sun we get here, or maybe our lazy country won’t do it’s homework. Instead, they are more like kids, buying into advertisements and sound bytes. So, don’t come crying to real conservatives when Romney doesn’t do anything that he promised IF he’s elected.

“Compromise” Was How This Country Was Founded. Wrong.

Mark Levin on Colin Powell’s mushy moderate views about slavery and the founding fathers. I am glad to hear Mark Levin debunk this idea that we hear more and more from the left-leaning moderates and the statists. Colin Powell, who jumped on the band wagon when he endorsed Obama, has said that this country was founded on compromise. When people use the word compromise, as Powell has done, they are only giving credence to a total misunderstanding of our country’s founding. Compromise is something that we as conservatives need to address, and I think we have started doing so. It’s wrong to compromise on your principles is the point here. “Compromise was not how this country was founded. A Revolutionary war was how this country was founded.” I couldn’t have said it any better. That’s why I am just providing the video and short commentary. Enjoy.

Disgraceful National News Media Cuts Out NYC Name Reading Coverage At Least Twice

Never Forget

How disgraceful to those names being read in NYC this morning. If you didn’t know, there is a memorial at ground zero this morning with former President G.W. Bush and current President Obama and the First Lady.

Every national news media channel (MSNBC, FOX, CNN) all cut out from coverage while loved-ones were reading names out loud. As if they had something better to say at the moment or something more to show. What more do you think you can add than what those speaking could say. They weren’t just reading names. There is something else going on here. Something SO much bigger than just name reading taking place. People are still healing. The nation is still healing.

The media cut back shortly after to show G.W. Bush speaking and continued showing afterward for a few reading names, but then they cut out again! The media needs to learn how to cover things respectfully and honorably. We could all learn to act more respectfully and honorably. So, let us all honor and respect those lost in the atrocious acts of violence that were carried out that day. Thank God for local channel 13 (Orlando) news coverage. At least they understand and remember it.

Never Forget.

Never Forget

Never Forget

Never Forget

The Battle Has Only Begun

The political battle has only begun. The left are the ultimate deceivers of our day and time. They will never stop. I’m in it to win it, are you?

Redundant Talking Points Get Attention From Those Who Don’t Pay Attention

Where is the 2011 fiscal budget? 2010? 2009? That’s we should be asking, not criticizing those in our own base (Billy Kristol and other RINO’s). I continue to hear claims that we (mouse in their pocket) made a step forward when we stopped the government from shutting down Friday, April 8, 2011. Now, we are at the crossroads again and we hear the same damn thing. The last time I checked I voted along with many other Americans last November to cut this political dance OUT. Bill Kristol’s weekly standard story Erick pointed out this morning is just the perfect example of dithering from the old Republic scared that they will lose their jobs.

Both sides talking points were different, but their plans are relatively the same. All day before the April 8 deadline this year, all I heard was; “we made the biggest cuts ever!”. Technically speaking, that was true. The fact of the matter is that those cuts are nothing based on current spending levels. And to give into a plan that cuts relatively nothing, doesn’t permanently cap anything for future Congresses, and certainly doesn’t balance the budget is a betrayal of conservative principles. This mess from the RINO’s is the same old tactic they always use to save their own hides. I tell you what, you go with this plan, you WILL be voted out next year! Period!

Frame deep in the mud and they’re still trying to pull us out with a Prius!

I meant to discuss this story a week ago from the Huffington Post, but never got around to it…
U.S. Default Would Likely Cause Stocks, Bonds, Dollar To Collapse

Then, today I saw a number of lazy, slanderous, and good for nothing attempts at journalistic objectiveness posted at RCP. Let me begin by listing some of those stories. Listing all of them is something I think we should do or at least make people aware of. Those that don’t know or maybe are just getting into politics must be aware of these sites and Representatives. These drones keep pushing their ignorance and we must continue to fight back!

1) hair salon.com

2) Old man Harkin. Someone should really check his medical to see if he is fit to be in office.

,3)E.J., oh poor ignorant E.J. employed by Washington Post

4) NY Slimes about Bajillionares and Meganillionaires (suprised Krugman didn’t write this one)

5)Murdoch conspiracy theory from the nation.com

6) Listed next to last, but to me it’s the most important. Attacking the House Republicans for not going with the status quo spending. We have to protect these excellent people.

7) and I couldn’t leave out this wonderful gem of an article.

I really think people have lost their minds. There is no doubt about it that the left is going full throttle in their attacks on the Tea Party. We must continue fighting back.

Most of us who have been around the for the past couple of years know these writers or the sites that employ them. They grease the gears of the perpetual left machine everyday with their drivel. After two years of running the show and never turning any way but left, we are still in a ditch. We have come full circle. Instead of driving us out of the ditch as they promised, they have the frame in the mud and they are trying to pull us out with a Prius.

They continue to increase their attacks against Tea Party activists and I don’t doubt that tonight’s WH meeting of DEMOCRATS ONLY was to make a plan of attack. We must not let up. They aren’t interested in saving the country. They are interested in having more closed door meetings in order to save their own hides.

When I first saw the title of the huff-and-puff post story that I began this post with, I thought that the liberals were finally realizing the gravity of our current situation. Obviously, I’m kidding. The huff-and-puff post is a prime example of the laziness in our country. They really show it with this nugget of astonishing reporting.

As much as the democrats want you to believe it, we aren’t close to having our “electric” turned off. What we are close to is spending our country to oblivion, and yet they want to spend more. And as far as the Billionaires and Millionaires goes, these guys provide the funding so that people can even have a job. I can’t believe we haven’t learned this yet. I’m not even going to mention the other stories. It is all just nonsense.

True conservative patriot politicians like Marco Rubio, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Nikki Haley, Rand Paul, and Paul Ryan, Jim DeMint have come out during this debate about the debt ceiling. They have stayed true to their course. I don’t mean to leave anyone out at all. Just need to leave some room. You all know who you are!!

My point is that all these people have spoken out against raising the debt limit. They have all very clearly and consistently stated that we must Cup, Cap, and Balance. We need to vote in more politicians like these.

For you fence-sitting representatives, you have played this game for two years now. You’ll jump off for media coverage and then get back on the fence after no one is looking. I’m not going to name but a couple of names, especially McConnell and sometimes Boehner. I try to give Boehner the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes I don’t know if he realizes what he is doing. Anyways, there are much worse Reps than Boehner. At least he tries or at least puts off the appearance of trying. Get off the fence and do what we voted you in there to do!

Before I finish with this tangent of tangents post of mine, I want to personally thank Mr. Mark Levin. He and the other conservative radio hosts and website gurus like Mr. Limbaugh, Mr. Erickson, Mr. Hannity, Ms. Ingraham, and we can’t forget Ms. Malkin have burnt up the airwaves and ethernet lines. Thanks!

We are getting there! Let’s keep up the fight! This is only my third post, but I have been reading this site and the others every day for more than two years. Guess I just wanted brain dump some things, thank some people, and say let’s keep up the good fight my fellow Patriots!!

God Bless America

At a Precipice by the Godless Valley: Texas Vs. FFRF

It feels routine now when the left attacks our freedom of choice, that is, whatever freedoms we haven’t relinquished yet. Yet, we cannot allow ourselves to become numb to these attacks. We must fight back.

The atheists, agnostics, or whatever they want to call themselves, are once again coming after our religious freedom. I read the following story from Fox News;

Story here…

This is getting very old. It’s no surprise the left continues to wake up every morning donned in their jockey uniforms beating the same dead horse. So, let me get this story from Fox News right. The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) want us to stop talking to and thinking about God because it offends them and somehow usurps their freedom as citizens of the United States. Do I have that about right?

Basically, what the liberal statists have been saying in a round-about fashion for many, many years now is we need to shut up, because they don’t believe in God. I mean, at the most basic level, this is what they are asking us to do. They want to force this existential argument into the courts. That’s right, let’s have the courts decide who can preach to the public! And it can only be one or the other according to the left. This should be enough to upset any reasonable person, atheist or not.

In order for them to have their cake and eat it too, they want us to shut-up, but they still want to shout it on the rooftops that God is dead. Or something like that. Shouting is probably not involved because of all the heavy drinking the night before, but I digress.

Their website states that they are a… “nonprofit that works to educate the public on matters relating to nontheism, and to promote the constitutional principle of separation between church and state.”

We all recently celebrated the 4th of July. To be condescending for a second here, there is this little document called the Declaration of Independence that clearly states our nation was founded on self-evident truths that we as humans have unalienable rights endowed to us by our creator. The problem is, and we all know this, is that the Constitution says nothing about separation of church and state.

Obviously, there are laws we as men need to create to protect ourselves from others who wish to do us harm, but as far as religion goes, puhhh-lease. What is the problem with religion? The only problem is the one the liberals are causing. I’ll tell you an analogy that I think may clear things up for us. You know how people preach the gospel? Well, in my mind, these folks are preaching the opposite of the gospel. Either way, they are preaching. And, as their website says they are preaching it to the PUBLIC.

I mean, I think my thinking on the FFRF-facade is simple. Correct me if I’m wrong, but if they are against prayer in public and claim to be fighting for separation of church and state, isn’t it logical to assume that them proselytizing to the public on matters of non-theism is just the same thing they are suing Rick Perry for???

If they want to preach non-theism or whatever, they can do it until the cows come home for all I care. That’s why we have a 1st amendment.

They say they’re rights are being usurped because Rick Perry is holding a national prayer day. I say they are infringing upon our 1st amendment rights, and that they are guilty of holding up the courts with frivolous lawsuits costing us taxpayers money and time. We all know time equals money, but the liberals just love wasting light. They have nothing else better to do with their time. Let me give you guys some advice. How about instead, you feed the hungry or build homes for the homeless? Just do something that isn’t so wasteful.

Fox News Story about NBC Poll: Romney Solidifies GOP Lead for 2012

Don’t be confused by this headline on Fox News: Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/06/16/poll-romney-solidifies-gop-lead-for-2012/#ixzz1PRdgv9aQ

The actual numbers of the poll tell me that the likely voters polled are not true Tea Party conservatives. I’m sure many of you won’t disagree that many independent and liberal voters support Mitt Romney in the polls over Obama, because they regret voting for Obama. They believe he has taken spending too far and Romney is the most liberal guy in the GOP group. I’ll tell you all right now that Mitt’s plain is to claim he is some kind of moderate candidate. This hogwash about middle ground is getting really old. Your either conservative or your not.

Anyways, my point is, is that this poll doesn’t indicate anything except that those with liberal or other than true conservative views support Mitt Romney more than any other GOP candidate. It does not reflect who true conservatives want to be a candidate. Let’s look at the actual numbers for the 1,000 polled. These are all relative to the numbers for June 2011.

If we look at the poll numbers:

  • 49% of the polled approve of Barack Obama’s job, 46% disapprove, and 5% are unsure. 54% disapprove of the way he is handling the economy. 59% either feel “very positive”, “somewhat positive”, or “neutral” about the democratic party during June 2011. Whereas, 68% either feel “very negative”, “negative”, or “neutral” about the GOP. 41% feel negative toward the Tea Party versus 28% negative, whereas 31% are unsure or neutral.
  • 51% of those polled believe government should do more! 46% think it does too much. Hello! All these numbers should throw up a red flag.

http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/i/MS…

These numbers tell me that the likely voters polled are not in fact representative true conservatives. It is obvious the majority polled are all either Libs, Independents or RINOS. Whatever you want to label them, I don’t care, they just are NOT conservatives. To show without a doubt that this poll does NOT represent the true Tea Party conservative, look at the following numbers:

  • 46% of the polled said they would vote for Obama in 2012. 15% where undecided or would vote for another party, or said it depends on the opponent. Only 40% said they would definitely vote Republican.

This poll should not give us any doubt about the thrashing Obama and the Liberals are going to receive in the upcoming election of 2012. Whether it is Romney, Paul, (hope not), Gingrich, Pawlenty, Santorum, Bachmann, or Cain (hope so), we need to defeat Obama!
