Is RedState.com getting undermined, or just real busy?

Site unresponsive for hours today; Is it just me?

I don’t see anything on the front page saying anything about website issues. Is it just me?

    when things go awry here to keep in contact!

    But…what we really need is a decent server or whatever to prevent these constant 500 Error messages! Freezing delays, etc etc etc.

    As far as I know, neither a DDOS nor a traffic overload.

        Exactly what I was thinking. I propose a complete mirror site, say on a tried-and-true BBS platform like phpBB.

        The powers that be at RedState promised they’d fix this months ago but alas, the error 500 still rules the day. I suspect they’re in some kind of contractural bind due to the relatively new ownership of the site and their reluctance or refusal to fix the problem, what ever it may be.

        I hope and pray they fix it soon. Rush is mentioning RedState more often lately and God help us if Drudge dares link again.

          or something similar. It has to be something with proven scalability…unlike what we have here now.

            Yesterday, I think Rush, Sean, and Levin mentioned redstate.com. Is it a Kos Attack? Or just heavy volume? I don’t know the term Boom.

            I just wish we had email contacts to tell us an alternate IP so we can all still communicate. I’d volunteer one if I had a spare site to offer.

            And no, I did not mean to post this twice.

    It may have to do with increased traffic as the election nears. It’s somewhat dissapointing as when we need this site the most it goes AWOL for hours. They should be better prepared.
