Clinton to lead Democrat Convention

It is interesting that as we approach Obama’s November re-election campaign, Mr. Obama seems to be campaigning towards the middle.  He did it in 2008.  Gone are the harsh attacks on business.  Gone is defense of his healthcare monstrosity.  Gone is his rhetoric on climate change.  Now, he is only now focused on the economy.

But Obama was only interested in the economy during the first three months of 2009 and then really didn’t get around to thinking about avoiding a double-dip recession until 2011.  We aren’t creating jobs as a country.  Our 2012 GDP is behind our 2011 GDP.  And most importantly, we are looking at a “lost decade.”

Obama plans on hiding behind the Clintons of America in pretending that he is the economy guy.  He isn’t.  Consumer confidence is down.  Businesses aren’t hiring.  Domestic manufacturing is down.  Obama is playing to teacher’s unions and promising that more students than ever will go to college, rather than equipping children to get jobs and make a difference in the world economy.  It isn’t that Obama doesn’t understand any of these problems or that he is out of touch.

It is simply that he doesn’t understand the remedy.  He doesn’t know how to fix the economy.  Obama doesn’t know.  He has tried.  And with the power of the Executive branch of the United States and a Super Majority in the Congress, the argument could be made that he threw enough money at the problem during his first year to stop the bleeding.

But he has been completely inept at growing America since then.  He has failed in pushing us ahead.  If any modern president has succeeded at managing the decline of America, it is Barack Obama.  He can hide behind moderate democrats, but he still has the same thing to offer us for four more years: Cluelessness on the economy.  We can do better.

    Surely not Bill?
After his last tour and all the back and forth about ‘what he meant’, why would they allow it?
    Peter Principle?

Obama caught lightning in a bottle in 2008…and his opponent voted for the Iraq war resolution, otherwise she would have eaten him alive.

I am still of the belief that the Clintons and their people DESPISE Obama…and that their passive-aggressive sniping will only get worse as the general election nears. Hillary v. Romney 2016…that is the ultimate goal, wait and see :)

watch what’s going on behind the curtain … Your conclusion is correct – Hillary vs. Mitt 2016 – but to do that Team Clinton need to hold ground in 2012 and win ground in 2014.

The Clinton Foundation recently purchased the records of the defunct DLC (Democrat Leadership Council) party-within-the-party that succeeded in making Bubba sound centrist enough to win.

Why would the Clintons want those documents? Perhaps for the section that’s a who’s who of the DLC in the House and Senate… they’ll know whose backs to scratch.. and who’s an Obamanaut.

I expect that, in 2016, Hillary will be more willing to listen to Bubba than she was in 2008 – it was quite clear, from the tin ear her campaign presented, that he’d been shoved out of the loop.

Watch for something similar, with Dems sounding more and more centrist….especially in purple States.

I think Erick Erickson pointed this out for whatever reason, the Clinton A team that had won two Presidential elections with a client who is essentially John Edwards with a less sympathetic wife wasn’t running Hiliary’s campaign. Morris, Carville and Begala would never have been cowed by being called a racist. They understood quite well what Churchill meant when he said: “History will be kind to me for I intend to write it” (essentially this is what “triangulate” means).

For whatever reason, Hiliary didn’t want the victory to be due to Bubba or the A-team (and to be honest Morris would never work for her). The B-team had no clue of how to attack Obama and then like her John McCain and his team spent more time worrying about what they were being called in the MSM press (which to be honest was fully in the tank with the “historic moment” of a first black Presidency) than winning the election. This is the reason I love Romney’s “I don’t lose any sleep over what people write about me”.

Oh and to the liberal trolls who want to sell the MSM wasn’t in the tank -here is the revolting Chris Tingles to prove you wrong. (Warning: this video is liable to cause you to lose your lunch)

They call him Slick Willie for a reason. I’ve heard from multiple sources that Clinton knows Obama is wrecking the country and doesn’t want him reelected.
