Rick Santorum Day
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | February 7th at 06:30 AM |
Today, there are GOP nominating contests in Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota. Rick Santorum is looking to pull out two upsets in Missouri and Minnesota while looking to best Gingrich for second place in Colorado. If Senator Santorum pulls off even two of these three feats tomorrow, it spells danger for the Gingrich campaign. Every time voters get an up close look at Newt Gingrich, they | Read More »
Planned Parenthood continues its vicious assault on breast cancer research
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | February 3rd at 06:30 AM |
In case you missed it, Planned Parenthood has carried through with an all-out assault on the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation for its decision to only provide funding to women’s groups that give mammogram exams. The Foundation’s sole purpose is to stop breast cancer. As the evidence has continued to mount that Planned Parenthood doesn’t perform mammogram tests or contribute to stopping breast | Read More »
All the Romney’s endorsements indicate what exactly?
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | February 3rd at 06:00 AM |
Yesterday, the Donald, who we all greatly admire as a great politico, endorsed none other than Williard “Mitt” Romney. As a conservative who is anti-Second Amendment, pro-abortion, anti-traditional marriage and pro-Romneycare healthcare mandate, I love Mitt Romney — and I’m not alone, after the Donald’s endorsement, I started thinking of other great conservative minds that have endorsed our guy. The list that follows is the | Read More »
Mitt Romney: a loser for the GOP
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | January 31st at 10:35 AM |
Today, Governor Romney attempts to win Florida. But who is he and how will that play into his race against Barack Obama later this year? In 2008, democrats found a candidate named Barack Obama. He was young and a member of a minority. He was cool and a great speaker. He checked every box on the litmus test. Yet, he really didn’t stand for anything. | Read More »
Rick Santorum needs to stay in this race
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | January 30th at 07:00 AM |
Yesterday, Newt Gingrich implied that Rick Santorum needs to drop out of the republican presidential primary race. This is simply wishful thinking on Newt’s part. Santorum needs to stay in this thing. A week ago, Newt’s debate performances, Super PAC and the Rick Perry Endorsement propelled Gingrich into the lead in some Florida polls. This race consolidated into a two-man Romney-Gingrich race. But now, polls | Read More »

Wouldn’t you like Barbour, Pence & Daniels to raise the price of items you buy on ebay, amazon and itunes.

The Marketplace “fairness” act has, in many incantations been floated for awhile now. It essentially looks to tax online retailers at the same rate as big box stores do at the federal level. It is a federal tax on all online purchases that you make. In a disappointing effort, republicans are beginning to support the raising of taxes on online purchases. I don’t understand the | Read More »
The three stooges go at it again in the Florida Debate Tonight
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | January 26th at 10:49 AM |
Tonight we get yet another debate. As tired as most people are of these debates, we actually need one right now. The Romney Super PACS are spending money and the other guys need a chance to respond. The Establishment is pushing back against the grassroots nomination of Gingrich. Personally, I wouldn’t be so disturbed by anyone lining up against Gingrich, if it weren’t in favor | Read More »
SOTU: Jobs & Taxes in America
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | January 25th at 09:27 AM |
The President doesn’t seem to have a good handle on the full court press it is going to take to bring corporations back to America. He tepidly tried in his SOTU last night, the President spoke on “fair” opportunities for all Americans in his State of the Union address. Yet, it wasn’t fairness of opportunity that he focused on, it was disproportionate taxes that he | Read More »
State of the Union Tonight
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | January 24th at 07:00 AM |
Tonight, President Obama will address the American people and the American government, laying out his vision for the next year and beyond. There are really four areas that threaten our future. We really aren’t prepared for any of them. We can’t lay the blame at Obama’s feet for how we’ve arrived here, but we can ask him to change course in a positive direction. On | Read More »
