RIP Perry Campaign
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | November 10th at 08:11 AM |
Last night was sad. Everyone has had a brain freeze, but you can’t do it under the brightest lights where you have to bring you’re A game. For the one person in America that hasn’t seen the clip yet, Rick Perry takes 53 seconds to make a point and still can’t make it. Perry may have single handedly torpedoed his own campaign last night. With friends like Haley Barbour, who needs enemies?
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | November 9th at 08:41 AM |
Haley Barbour has been a consistent conservative throughout his term as Governor of Mississippi. But yesterday, Barbour let down the pro-life movement when it needed him most. On Tuesday night, Mississippi’s personhood amendment failed with more than 55% of the people voting against it. Leading up to yesterday’s election, the support for and against the amendment was completely split with 45% for and 44% against, | Read More »
I will NOT automatically vote for the guy with an “R” next to his name in 2012. Will you?
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | November 8th at 07:27 AM |
Recently, a fellow redstate.com diarist wrote an article titled, “I will vote for the Republican nominee in the 2012 Presidential Election. Will you?” NO, I won’t. My vote is not guaranteed to any idiot running for president because he has an “R” behind his name. The reason why is because I am: First, a Christian, Second, an American, Third, a conservative, & FOURTH, a Republican. | Read More »

By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | November 7th at 08:44 AM |
Tomorrow, the people of Mississippi will head to the polls to vote various measures including Mississippi’s Personhood Amendment. The proposed Amendment would give all humans – born-and-unborn the protection of due process under the law. Republicans and the mythical “pro-life democrats” in Washington D.C. have failed us for FORTY YEARS. Leaders in the nation have realized that if change is to come, it will start | Read More »

By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | November 3rd at 05:56 PM |
This week, House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi was asked if un-unionized workers in South Carolina working for the Boeing Corporation, should be allowed to keep their jobs. Shockingly, Pelosi said that they shouldn’t. She suggested that all the employees be fired and for the business to be moved to a unionized state. This, during a recession. To Pelosi, the politics of throwing out red meat to | Read More »

With all of the college students camping out in Zuccotti Park, it was only a matter of time before the STD’s started to spread. It is being called the Autumn of love, where any college-aged guy or gal can find a sure hook up by going down town to protest corporate greed, while embracing corporate lust. The New York Post has reported that people are | Read More »

By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | November 1st at 09:29 AM |
George Will wrote an article over the weekend, likening Candidate for President and former Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney to former presidential candidate and Governor of Massachusetts, Michael Dukakis. In the article he correctly noted that the grassroots and tea party movements of the republican party will not be excited about a Romney candidacy and that Romney could jeopardize republican efforts to take back the Senate. | Read More »
True Conservative Meghan McCain Endorses Romney
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | October 26th at 10:11 AM |
As a Perry/Bachmann supporter, I was grieved to learn that Meghan McCain, has endorsed Mitt Romney. Damn. We were so close. But do not fret Americans! Other political novelties like John Edwards, Kumar of White Castle fame, rent-is-too-damn-high guy and joe-the-plumber have yet to endorse. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Dear Mobsters-for-money:

For over a month now, college students, the unemployed, homeless, anarchists, social misfits, liberals, democrats and socialists and young people looking to hook up and meet new friends, have joined all over the country to call for the tearing down of American capitalism with their blackberry’s and ipads. The irony is lost on no one. But please let me address a frustrating cardboard sign I keep seeing. | Read More »
