Assassinating American citizens
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | March 14th at 06:00 AM |
Recently, United States Attorney General, Eric Holder, came out with his defense of American drone assassinations of American citizens without due process of law. Obviously, his rationalization left something to be desired. For those that missed it, in 2011, the President of the United States ordered the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, born in New Mexico. In fairness to the President, al-Awlaki was assassinated because he | Read More »
Are Republicans Racist?
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | February 24th at 06:00 AM |
Much has been made over the past several months (or years) concerning Republican opposition to President Obama. The race card being played against republicans is nothing new. However, the accusations have become more specific as the term has gone on. Now many suggest that Governor Jan Brewer’s finger in the face of Obama, Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC)’s “you lie” comment and Eric Cantor’s disrespect toward | Read More »
The Libya Problem
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | October 24th at 08:01 AM |
Gaddafi is dead. He was dragged and shot in the head by his own subjects. Sic Semper Tyrranus. But what now? There is a real debate going on between the two political movements. On the right, conservatives are arguing that we should’ve acted wisely and that the devil we know may be better than the devil that we don’t. This isn’t a romanticized idea of | Read More »
The Coalition for Irresponsibility on Wall St, is just the usual suspects.
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | October 7th at 09:33 AM |
For a few days now, protesters have been protesting on Wall Street. They are protesting . . . greed? While they are at it they should protest lust, anger, selfishness and other human qualities. This is a stupid protest and I largely think it is top-down. In any case, there are four things I would like to address on this issue. One, as a radio | Read More »
Kangaroo Court: Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, accused of Rape?
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | October 3rd at 08:16 AM |
Last week, on this site, I commented on Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani’s conviction and sentencing of death by hanging, in the state of Iran for apostasy of Islam, or more specifically, being a Christian. After a worldwide backlash over a proposed religious conviction, this backwards Muslim nation has accused this pastor of being a rapist. In December of 2010, Judges Morteza Fazel and Azizoallah Razaghi | Read More »
Romney (aka, the father of universal healthcare in the U.S.) is not gaining support.
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | September 29th at 08:50 AM |
Let me stress the most positive thing about the newest foxnews poll. Mitt Romney is not gaining support. The numbers have Romney with 23% (up from 22%); Perry with 19% (down from 29%); and Herman Cain with 17% support (up from . . . 6%?). It is no secret that I think a Romney will result in one of two scenarios. 1) The economy picks | Read More »
Barack Obama’s War on Success & His Myth of the “Fair Share.”
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | September 20th at 07:45 AM |
Barack Obama has unveiled his plans for paying for his Stimulus 2.0. He is going to be taking more money from the highest earning workers and job creators in order to create government programs to hire people that aren’t working. He is FINALLY going to make those lazy S.O.B.’s “pay their fair share.” But there is one thing that really bothers me. Obama has declared war | Read More »
