Rick Santorum and gay rights

Ever since Rick Santorum won the Iowa Caucuses last week, much has been made on his Christian views on marriage. Gay marriage, gay adoption and gay rights have been the subject of debate questions, town hall barrages and water cooler discussions. But during Sunday morning’s NBC Meet the Press debate, Rick Santorum captured the essence of what it means to be a (1) Christian, (2) | Read More »
What to look for in the New Hampshire debate tonight
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | January 7th at 08:57 AM |
Alright ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the first primary debate of 2012. On the left we have Mitt Romney who has to win big in New Hampshire to remain the inevitable candidate. On the right we have Jon Huntsman who is better qualified than Romney in every way to win New Hampshire. We have Newt Gingrich who can’t wait to take his revenge on Romney | Read More »
Do-or-Die tonight: Perry, Santorum, Newt & Huntsman.

Tonight is the final debate that will take place before people gear up for the Christmas season. It is a big deal for two reasons. First, the Iowa Caucuses are five weeks away. Whoever wins Iowa will be the lone candidate with a chance to take on Romney after his New Hampshire win. Second, this debate is do-or-die for every candidate that isn’t named Newt | Read More »
Why not Rick Santorum?

There are only forty-five days until the Iowa Caucuses. Conservatives are going to need a champion to face off against Romney after he wins the New Hampshire primary. That guy may be Rick Santorum. It won’t be Cain. Cain is fading and he won’t be back. 9-9-9 was a loser, these sexual harassment allegations have not been rebutted with tangible evidence and he himself (not | Read More »
Do this one thing, and you can win.

Do this one thing, and you can win. We are 48 days out from the Iowa Caucuses where a frontrunner is decided upon. The only thing for sure is that the race is still open. On this path, it is Romney’s to lose, but if one single candidate could step forward and overcome his one weakness, that person could win the nomination and become the | Read More »
Romney Lies His Way to Another Debate Victory, But there is still hope of beating him…
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | October 12th at 09:33 AM |
Last night we endured another excruciating train wreck on through the Bloomberg debate. It was an additional republican presidential primary debate full of bad positions, poor debaters, vapid arguments and cheesy one-liners. Mitt Romney, the republican with a record to the left of Democrat Senators and Former Governors, Joe Manchin (WV), Bob Casey (PA) and Mark Warner (VA), continued to solidify his lead as frontrunner | Read More »
Perry loses the debate; Romney wins but remains unacceptable for conservatives.
By: Griffin@griffinelection (Diary) | September 23rd at 11:00 AM |
Promoted from the diaries Last night’s debate was not the best debate. Stylistically, the google & youtube questions were annoying and largely shallow. Substantively, Perry looked as bad as he ever has with Romney coming out the winner. This is a huge problem for conservatives. Rick Perry is on the cusp of becoming the consensus candidate that Romney isn’t. He is tea-party and establishment. He | Read More »
