Over the next 2-3 weeks news on the economy will continue to get worse. Continuous dark clouds of doom will be broken only by plague and swarms of locust. Near the end mass migrations of people from all over the nation will begin.

Then suddenly… mid-day on a Tuesday, the clouds will part the sun will shine, birds… birds un-heard from for months will breakout in joyful song, and a roar will arise from the people, such as has never before heard!

And the people will be told that everything will be fine… just go about your business… shop, live, buy things, all is well in the world! All bad news will be banished… good news… news that things weren’t really all that bad in the first place will be on the front page once again. Wars will be declared won; babies will smile… and almost strangely in a few short weeks the weather will once again warm, and the days will almost seem… seem longer somehow.

Iraq will be back on front page, above the fold. Newsmen will be astounded and amazed by the recent gains of our troops and of the Iraqi people.

Death losses will be portrayed as lower than accidental death rates in other occupations and all will praise Obama (PBUH).

The economy will be seen as pretty strong by historical standards, especially considering the oil shock that we just came through and any good news or perspective will be mentioned first, with little things like rising jobless claims or foreclosures mentioned only as a footnote.

I’m so glad our media is here to help us gain perspective.

   Shades of the Hitler-Stalin pact, of course.  With President “Neville” Obama in the White House and a Congress basically run by CongressCritters (irregardless of the label they’re wearing), it’s a “go” with them.  Putin will recapture the old Russian empire almost unopposed and Iran will succeed in getting Israel wiped off the map by their proxies, then Iran will start to steamroll everyone within range as soon as our boys are pulled out of the way.  Look at India to show more spine than us afterwards.

They’ll push through his/their “green” enegy proposal, ignoring what is readily available domestically, causing our greater dependence on foreign energy sources while the great ‘wind turbine’, solar experiments and such take 20-30 years to come online to provide power to SanFran and it’s suburbs.
