In other words, America fear not, look unto me, for “I“ will save your healthcare.

The words of John McCain stirred my heart this election season, and I have not forgotten them. Fellow Christians there is still many battles to fight, and a war to win over the heart of American. We can not go quietly into the wilderness in a time that our nation so desperately needs us the most. Now is the time to put your armor on and stand, stand up and fight!

I believe there is a strong movement among Christians to turn the heart of this country back to the Judeo-Christian values that it was founded upon. We will not accomplish this solely through some political means, while we must not waver to hold the political fronts that we are currently engaged in, we must also engage the real enemy that has lead our country astray. He is a powerful enemy, not one of flesh & blood, with powerful lies, that has turned the hearts of many away from the truth, and has weakened our personal testimony to the world by getting us focused on the things of this world instead of heavenly things. We can not win this war by engaging him in our own power & might, we must engage him in the power of the Holy Spirit & take back the ground that we have allowed him to take: first in our own hearts, then our homes, then our churches, then our local communities, and then our greater governments. So my friends meditate upon the words of this great hymn, the Word of God, which is quick & powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, hold fast your faith, pray, and engage the enemy for our Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ, has not quit the fight & will lead us to victory!

Sound the battle cry!
See, the foe is nigh;
Raise the standard high For the Lord;
Gird your armor on,
Stand firm, ev’ry one;
Rest your cause upon His holy Word.

McCain needs to make it simple for Americans. He must not come across to aggressive, although I wish he could get away with it. The focus groups have shown that they get turned off by the candidates personally attaching one another. I personally don’t think McCain has to get aggressive because I think he is in a great position to simply promote Obama as another politician who likes to funnel tax dollars to his friends and pet projects, and therefore is part of the corrupt establishment that exists in Washington.

McCain “must” make the connection that the corruption in Washington to pork barrel spending. McCain “must” make this extremely clear to Americans that pork barrel projects are added to legislation to buy votes. Listen to that again slowly, and let that settle in for a minute, pork barrel projects are added to legislation to buy votes, just look at the economic rescue bill just passed for an example of how corrupt Washington has become.

My friends we don’t send people to congress for their votes to be bought, or for them to funnel more money to their personal pet projects. Obama has a record of participating in this type of corruption, McCain/Palin have a record of fighting against this corruption. McCain must repeat this over and over through out the night, Obama has a record of participating in this type of corruption throughout his political career.

McCain needs to say something along these lines:

My solution to the corruption in Washington is to cut the pork barrel spending by vetoing every bill that contains such. This is the only solution that will put government back on the side of the people. Obama is someone who will allow this corruption to continue in Washington. Time and time again he has minimized my position is these debates on this critical issue. He tells you that 18 billion dollars is insignificant. Can I ask you a question, is the buying of your representatives vote insignificant to you. I would also ask how you can trust a person who participates in the very thing that is so corrupting to our government. The decision is yours on November 4th, choose wisely!

As long as representatives can hold out on a particular piece of vital legislation they can pretty much name their price. How pathetic! This is “the” single most critical issue of our time, and John McCain & Sarah Palin are the only candidates that have a record of fighting against it!

Go get’m John! May the grace of God be with you tonight!

While her first public interview, since McCain introduced this wonderful woman to the American people as his VP running mate, was not as polished as most would like to have seen, I saw something in her interview that continues to feed the fire of enthusiasm I now have for the Republican ticket. It wasn’t her stance on the issues (although I think she did fine) to me, but to me I saw something else that is very exciting. It’s that “something” I love about our current POTUS. I saw someone that isn’t afraid! Everything about her in this interview was saying I’m a fighter, I want quit, I want back down from anything you throw at me, and if you knock me down I’m just going to get back up swinging. It’s this spirit of a fighter that I am so excited about, and it started at the convention with her VP acceptance speech, and then with the words of John McCain “Fight with Me”. Those words are still echoing within my soul, and I believe McCain/Palin have awakened that same spirit within the hearts of many American’s.

There is no problem to tough that we as American’s can not overcome, either in our nation or the world, with these two fighters leading our way!

There is something dark that lies within. So subtle, so reclusive, and so deceitful many never fully acknowledge its existence, nor the power it wields over their lives. It feeds thoughts to the mind, and when credence is given to those thoughts it then drives actions. You’ve seen its working in your own family, our nation, and the world. You’ve seen the wake of its destructive path both recently and throughout history. You’ve seen it spare no mercy on those it takes prey, whether young or old. It never tires of tempting mankind with its lures of pleasure and power because its sole desire is to destroy, conquer, and rule. It is evil that lies within each of us.

Bristol Palin, along with her boyfriend, feel prey to its influence, but they are only one couple among thousands in our nation. Teenage pregnancy, along with many of the social ills of our day, is only the outward manifestation of that which works within. May our nation take heed to this reality, and reject the sensual culture that we have become so intoxicated with and have on constant display before our children everyday!
