Speaking Of Total Failures, Nancy…

I'm amused that you forgot that pot and kettle analogy

Apparently, our dear incompetent Nancy Pelosi believes President Bush…personally…is a complete failure:

“You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject,” Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for “challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again.”

Funny… the Democrat media wing (aka National Public Radio) says Congressional approval is lower than Bush’s. Seems to me Nancy didn’t get that memo. In fact, it seems Nancy is under the impression that the Democrats are running against GWB in 2008, given how much time and energy they spend trashing the guy leaving instead of focusing on the next one coming in. Poor, poor, pitiful Pelosi.

Her stick buddy in the Senate has similar delusions. In the same article, the Reidster is quoted thusly:

“Who would be afraid of him?” Reid, D-Nev., said as many senators looked on. “He’s got a 29 percent approval rating.”

If the criteria for political fear is based on approval ratings, ol’ Harry and Nance must be scared to death right now…of themselves.

What they have to show for their …ahem… “leadership in the majority” is a doubling of gas prices, a crumbling economy, a war that has succeeded IN SPITE of their sorry selves, and a bunch of renamed Post Offices.

Total failure? I think we know who that label really belongs to.

go too far, count on it every time. Just about the time when you think they can’t say something less self-aware, they do it. It’s one of the things that I so cherish about true libs–they just can’t shut up. If all it took was “stupid” to conquer the world, we’d all be talking like ’60′s hippies by now.

Thank God that “smart, free, and armed” wins the day every time–so far.

      “smart, free, and armed”

…Nancy Pelosi affirms that he must be doing something right. Being the target of an attack on competence by Nancy Pelosi is akin to watching Keanu Reeves host Inside the Actors Studio.

Speaking of abject failure, how’s that “commonsense” plan to lower “skyrocketing gas prices” working for you Nancy? You remember, the one that led you to bloviate…

With skyrocketing gas prices, it is clear that the American people can no longer afford the Republican Rubber Stamp Congress and its failure to stand up to Republican big oil and gas company cronies. Americans this week are paying $2.91 a gallon on average for regular gasoline ? 33 cents higher than last month, and double the price than when President Bush first came to office.

    Republican “Rubber Stamp” Congress = $2.91 a gallon. Democrat “Supply-Free” Congress = $4.50 a gallon.

      well done.

could not come out and echo the same type of comments. I am so tired of having a president that will not stand up for himself.

I would like for him most, as regards his failure in the war, to suggest that she should stop living in 2006 and take a real look at what the situation now is. And, that the failure dems in congress need to stop encouraging a nearly defeated enemy.

Even if you’re not in her district, call her and tell her your opinion on gas prices and offshore drilling. It’s too important to just let it go. They sent me to the “comment” line. It may not do any good, but you never can tell. In her insulated world, she may never hear any differing opinions. At the very least, it’s cathartic.

    Here’s her info:

    Washington, D.C. Office – (202) 225-4965

is that they think their personal approval rating is around 90%, and some schlub Republicans are dragging the average down to 19%.

    • Darin_H

Their approval/disapproval only matter in their state/district. General approval #’s don’t mean much to them individually, but for those freshmen or the congressmen who are in marginal districts, it means more.

What constantly amazes me is the baseness of Pelosi+Reid’s comments? I can’t imagine how they consider themselves to be professionals??(if they were in sales, they would starve!)It’s to bad our politicians have reduced to thatlevel!!
