……..who’s exit of The White House at a service door used for garbage didn’t go unnoticed by at least one media outlet (a non-US media outlet, of course).

Photos at the link (if the photos are gone, I have them saved as files)……….

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1251888/Dalai-Lama-meet-Barack-Obama-U-S-defies-protests-China.html

The Dalai Lama and U.S president Barack Obama met for the first time at the White House today, defying furious protests from China.

    snip

The Tibetan spiritual leader, who was also denied a meeting in the Oval office, left via a side entrance where rubbish bags were piled up and The White House didn’t release photos of the meeting until several hours afterwards.

    =================

Forgetting everything else, the administration made a world-respected holy man leave through a service door used mainly by the staff as a garbage dump.

Equating a spiritual leader with refuse and subservient house-staff.

I wonder if the same “courtesy” would be shown to a Mus………. I’m not gonna comment more……. I wouldn’t stay civil.

From Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit……….

    http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/02/5-muslim-soldiers-arrested-at-fort-jackson-for-trying-to-poison-food-supply

I?m sure it was just a ?tragic event? and not an act of terrorism (As Obama would put it).

This report from CBN News (hat tip: StoptheACLU)

    http://blogs.cbn.com/stakelbeckonterror/archive/2010/02/18/cbn-exclusive-five-muslim-soldiers-arrested-at-fort-jackson-in.aspx

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas and are in custody. The five men were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.

The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.

An interesting nugget they added was this:

A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the ?Fort Jackson Five? may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.

Exit question: If they were caught in early December so why are just hearing about this now ?

    Answer:

The current President Of The United States:

?We seek broader engagement based upon mutual interest and mutual respect. We will listen carefully, we will bridge misunderstanding, and we will seek common ground. We will be respectful even when we do not agree.?

But where is your gold medal? Guess we should just thank you for paving the way…

come on admit it, admit it. Heh, I was all state goalkeeper for a state that begins with a M in 1993. I scored a goal by punting it the length of the field, huh, huh? I am good no? Yes, I just had to take some credit for the long red hair thing.

after watching the olympics tonight, I would say my favorite snowboarder(s) would be Hannah Teeter or Gretchen Bleiler. Got to say that those snowboarder gals are pretty easy on the eyes. Not bad on the length of the feild goal, though. Kinda impressed now… I can’t give you too much crap for the long hair, I’m almost 35 and mine is still past my shoulders. Some things are hard to give up.

          • DONTREADONME

and hair below the shoulders, though the red is turning to a brown, red, blond and white which I am guessing that’s what happens to red heads instead of gray. Plus the wife completely digs the hair and my dad still hates, after all these years I still have to annoy the dad about something. Seriously, I have a gold medal, it read “most improved dishwasher 1993″ :)

          • discerningconservative

Red heads don’t go gray? Now I wish I was a red head. Even as young as I am (if I don’t say it, nobody will) I’m already about 30% gray. I think the fact that my dad hates it is part of why I haven’t ever cut it, too. Don’t get me wrong, I love the man to death, but fun is fun. Oh yeah… congrats on the gold medal ;-)
