I hope Christine O’Donnell’s handlers don’t mess up her interviews like Palin’s did! I think not a great idea to cancel out on Chris Wallace.

They’ve come out and endorsed John Salazar (CO-3) and Betsy Markey (CO-4). We simply can’t have these people regularly working against us. I will state now that anyone that retains their membership in this organization is working against conservative and Republican goals.

Just found out last night that the NRA endorsed Chris Carney (PA-10) over the Republican Marino. PA-10 is a pretty conservative district and Carney is down by double digits. He voted for Tarp, Stimulus and the Health care bill even after he assured us that he would not vote for it. People here are mad as hell at him. He is going to LOSE. WHY would the NRA support him? He has already proven that he is not a man of his word and will vote for ANYTHING that his puppet master Pelosi tells him to vote for.

I was so mad I cancelled my NRA membership last night. I’ll probably rejoin down the road, but it seems to me that the NRA is being run by either democrats or RINO’S and stupid ones at that.

Not even to mention their support for the “Disclose” Act

Stay in and inform fellow members and vote for the board nominees.
If every one bails over the moderate and self inflicted leftist choices made then the org will change for the zumboed.
Change the org for the freedom from inside.

SAF is doing excellent work. Work the NRA used to do.
Let the NRA bite the dust and raise up another group in its place. When that group rots as well, replace IT.

That’s how we do it in a capitalist economy.

Leaving the NRA because some of its leaders make crappy decisions makes no more sense than abandoning the GOP because there are dunderheads in the leadership.

Stick and fight. The NRA belongs to me and millions of others, not to the temporary heads in the front office.

    h/t MarginalRevolution.com:

This is a graph looking at the primary concern of small businesses over time.

    Two things to note:

First, taxes + government regulation, if they had been made into one category, are the biggest worry of 36% of respondents, up from 29%. That implies that there are things that we can cut in both areas that might aid small businesses in surviving and thriving in the recession.

Second, poor sales jumped up from ~10% in September to ~30%. To me, this indicates that the problems confronting the economy have to do with aggregate demand, not supply. Yet, Stimulus II was incredibly ineffective. Funny, that.

By scurvy dogs, obviously I mean Pelosi & Reid.

Cheers as I swigs me Cap’n Morgan,
