News accounts indicate Rush was taken to a hospital in Hawaii while on vacation. Please pray for him.

    beyond that I’ll bite my tongue to be “BETTER” (as I know I am in every way) than those on the Left!

    Remember, there will be a point and purpose to this! I firmly believe that and that thought will be in my Prayers as he quickly recovers. Rested and ready to rip the other side a new one putting on display the vitriol we know will spew from them while he’s out.

    an aside: and why we must watch what we say ALWAYS! to be better than Leftists and RESPECT ourselves and our values if nothing else.

    For some reason he was losing a lot of weight real quick. He has a new woman in his life and maybe he is just trying to hard to get to a place where he thinks he looks good. I hope it isn’t his heart, it shouldn’t be, his mom, dad and granddad lived a long time. I hope it isn’t drug related either. That would be crushing.

    Hopefully, if it is his heart they catch it, stint him and he’ll be back better than ever. My buddy had his first attack when he was forty five, too many hours, too many cigarettes. They stinted him and it’s been five or better years with no problems. Another buddy got his first at thirty-six (genetics and Krystal burgers). They stinted him and he spent a year in Afghanistan in the mountains doing some serious work with no problems.

      by watching the “latest news on Rush Limbaugh hospital” as it came up but every other post was something repugnant.

      ABC news reported that Rush was in “stable condition” and apparently the word on twitter is “serious but stable” but I don’t know where they’re getting that info. I pray that God pulls him through and that Rush with a speedy recovery.

      And then Rush needs to quit smoking and start taking really good care of himself from here on out. America needs him too much for him to go home anytime soon.

        I was online last night when the news broke of Rush. It was predictable and expected for the left to unleash and expose on cue, their signature hate for someone that disagrees with them, making jokes like, “how can Rush have a heart attack when he has no heart?” So blinded by this instinctive, Pavlovian rage that impairs them totally; unaware that this is a reflection of what’s truly in their soul, revealed for all to see, that they have none.

I say that and will refer to Dick Cheney in how he was more than happy to laugh off the Darth Vader, and the like, as well as many of the “Heartless,” related jokes/comments, Does an issue of our ‘thin skin’ (and we are all human and more than capable of having days where we fall to such) an issue of Holier-than-others indulgence OR is it indeed that we are reading the INTENT (tone and context, of course, should help understand/determine that) correctly. The issue is that intent and often it is all about the JUST TO BE MEAN that they say things.

          Now, I have certainly said a few things, couched in “poor taste humor,” at times that many on the Left might not find funny – but I generally say them in a context with a reference that provides some kind of point to anyone that wants to actually pay attention.

    Praying for Rush, and wondering what God has planned for him/us/our country. This news will impact conservative media in some way undoubtedly, and fire up his compatriots and agitate the left. I believe it will work to strengthen us more.

        If you google “Ed Driscoll” I first saw it on his Twitter account but I think he was repeated from someone else ( I don’t use Twitter and am not sure how to track a post) anyway – there are several tweets now along the lines of saying Rush will be ok – doesn’t sound like any of it is confirmed though – but enough time has passed that one would think it likely that they’d have some idea.

        The guy seemed to have originated the tweet also tweeted that his sources are saying there should be a statement from the hospital within the hour -presumably these are the same sources that are saying Rush is going to be ok.

    Please take care of Mr. Limbaugh, who has been a bastion against the ungodly, hateful Left for many years. Give him strength during his recovery and beyond. And please bring those who speak spitefully of his medical problem to repentance.

    Especially, during this trying time, bring justice to the unjust, judgment to the wicked, mercy to the penitent, comfort to the weak, and peace to those that love You!

    …and, as much as it’s within my cyber-purview to offer apologies for such things, sorry for some others on the left who heard the news with glee and followed reports with anticipation of Rush’s death. It’s sick. And, you know I doubt the same behavior would be observed or tolerated here if Michael Moore were to have a heart attack. I’m not such a nice person online sometimes, but at least I am harsh on political items and know the limits on personal ones…

    So, glad to hear he’s alright for the time being. Always enjoy listening to him and getting mad (or, occasionally, agreeing).

    he would interrupt Hawaii vacation to see Rush in nearby hospital, offer to send own physician to assist in any way possible, and issue statement to the effect that although we see things differently, Rush is an American icon and all wish him well.

    There is no reason to think at this point that the President hasnt done some of this. For the sake of the nation, I hope that he has.

      Obama is a bitter person with a sack full of personal vendettas. Watching him for the last couple of years, you coulod see that he doesn’t have friends, just political alliances. If those alliances fail him, it goes under the bus quickly replaced by some other synchphantic group. Playing political hardball all your adult life does not leave room for friends, let alone being kind to others without an endgame result.

          They’d also do it without a press retinue, any pictures would be taken by Rush or friends of his. They wouldn’t be published on a website proclaiming how great he is. Look at all the visits we hear about that Bush did to Walter Reed and other base hospitals. They came from personal cameras not the high end cameras used by the press.

      We know this because if he had, it would already be saturating the media. Even if Obama were able to set his arrogant vindictiveness aside long enough to do what you suggest, it would be for the sole purposes of a photo-op and a look-how-magnanimous-and-wonderful-I-am press release. Keeping it classy, quiet, and out of the media a la GWB would serve neither BHO’s political purposes nor his incredible vanity. And Obama has never done a single thing in his life that was not ultimately all about him.

    Around the end of the ’80s, I began suffering severe chest pains; the first time resulting in a trip to the emergency room, fearing a heart attack.

    They found nothing wrong with my heart, but diagnosed “gastric distress”, and maybe an incipient ulcer.

    The pains recurred, off and on, for TWO years, usually after eating anything that had various fats in it (which I tried to avoid, to not much avail).

    One day, when going to the local clinic for relief, the doctor I usually saw wasn’t there, so I saw an intern instead who listened to my description of my symptoms, read my file, and then sent me to a local womens’ clinic for an ultrasound scan (which my clinic had not the equipment for).

    The result of that scan confirmed his suspicions of gallstones. A surgery was arranged and my gallbladder (which was FILLED with gallstones, looking like small gravel) was removed, FINALLY relieving me from intermittent HELL.

    What bothered me most about the episode (aside from the pain all that time) was that it took that long to find someone who had a clue as to what to look for. Finding a doctor who knows his stuff appears to be much like finding a really good mechanic, but far more consequential.

    I hope Rush has been checked for this possibility.
