I can only assign political motive for the Governor and our Senior Senator Dick Durbin for saying that George Ryan should be let out of prison early. It is quite clear that they would be more than happy to open up a new set of headlines to remind votes in Illinois of the corrupt deeds that the vile "Republican" Govenor Ryan was involved in. I’ll bet there won’t be any more indictments and the new federal prosecutor might accept wrist slap pleas from those already indicted. I’m surprised John Kass hasn’t written about Rezko post Obama.
