But you should know two things:

1. First, the rest of us don’t think the vast majority of the Rs in IL are much better (or at least not enough better to make them good). I’m sure there are some good people us there, but we’re not sure there are enough to save Sodom and Gomorrah.

2. We have all taken a vow not to recommend a diary if the author recommends his own. You were probably not here when this became an issue, but it’s not expected for anyone to recommend themselves. We just assume you like it or else you wouldn’t have written it.

Could we FINALLY get some funding from the national party with such a movement? With good reason, the national GOP establishment has been loath to direct money to this state. Up until this incident, there was no reason to bother with the ILL. GOP.

But, will this finally give the national party a reason to shovel some money Illinois’ way?

Well, I’d say yes ONLY of the Ill. GOP gets its act together. Stop being so feckless and fractious and take this Blago mess and finally get a message the people could grasp and appreciate.

So, let’s get going Ill. GOP. If you play your cards right, I might even decide to join back up with ya’all!
