Obama gets post-speech bump in both Rasmussen and CNN

Barack Obama’s Presidential Approval Index stands today at -3% in Rasmussen, up from -13% exactly 7 days ago and 11% the day before the speech (September 8th).

In a new CNN poll, released today, the approval is 58% compared to 53% in August.

The fawning over his speech and the odd claims of “racism” regarding Joe Wilson’s truthful interruption during the speech are taking their toll.

So, how does this make you feel? Angry, happy, sad, seething, motivated and please tell how is your relationship with your father?

Don’t just post a few links. Put some effort and thought into it.

“God is great, beer is good and people are crazy.”- Billy Currington

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘press on’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” Calvin Coolidge.

I do not think this guy's genuine...

How No Mention Of The ABC Poll?

He should get a bump. The question is whether the bump has legs. This bill is going nowhere.

In other news, McCaskill, Shaheen, Snowe and Collins are all jumping off the public option.

Meh, it's a dead cat bounce.

The numbers will go lower again (she says gleefully) :)

To me, “consensus” seems to be the process of abandoning all beliefs, principles, values and policies. So it is something in which no one believes and to which no one objects … There are still people in my party who believe in “consensus” politics. I regard them as Quislings, as traitors … I mean it. — Margaret Thatcher

RCP has his approval around 52% BUT

his disapproval has been going up, like a couple points in the last week, currently at 43.8 (earlier today it was 44%)

“The administrative state has inserted its big paws into our houses, from the toilet bowl to the light socket. Now if it would just stretch those paws from the one to the other at the same time, we might begin to recapture the spirit of ’76.” –Scott Johnson, Powerlineblog.com

Bounce?

This will come down quick once people realize he said anything of little
substance, and sounded like Carville and/or Begala

That is what a dead cat bounce is. A little bounce

then it hits the floor, dead as a whammer.
