But in all the name of everything holy ,why does any thing remotely patriotic have to be This Pale Facade of an honorable art form? Hundreds of protest and Pro-anything ditties have been written without “the textbook country warble”. This is not a fad, as the same stuff occurred in the 90′s with the Constitutional/Militia movement and personally, to me it still sounds the same.
Call me whiney,or worse, but attending TEA party rallies and the like, is painful, from an EAR standpoint.
When I approached WOTPP, Milford, Mi. to use some Jefferson Airplane (“Volunteers” & “Good Sheperd” {go ahead & look em up}) all I got was a bad case of : >) Lookin’ Down Their Nose at ME(< : . Was told "no Druggie Music allowed" and they would not even look at the lyrics. Foolish ME, huh? Damn Hippie!
